The Cupcake & Espresso Bar

This store is not being managed well at all anymore.
Today, Sunday 7/31, stopped in ordered 3 drinks and 3 danishes. Had to wait quite awhile just to order. The lady that appeared to be in charge spent so much time talking and distracting the other workers a line built up. When she finally decided to at least do something she started heating up the sandwiches for the couple that was in line ahead of us. Instead of directing one of the other workers to grab our danishes she decided to stand there and carry on a conversation with her.
The drinks for the couple in front of us in line had gotten their drinks and were waiting for the sandwiches. Our 3 drinks came up still not food for the couple or our danihes.
For those of us that have been to ALL of the cupcake and expresso bars, yes including the one in Redlands, that never happens! The drinks take longer then the food. Now to make matters worse when I got my 3 drinks one was completely wrong and when she ,the talking manager, was finally bring the hot sandwiches over heard us asking what that drink was because I ordered a hot drink and this clearly was not she asked if she could remake it for me.....Like I have time to listen to more of your conversations. Got my danihes grab 2 of the 3 drinks and left. Did not ask for a refund for the drink or the tip. My daughters and I had plans and it wasnt to stand there another 30 minutes to listen to her. 2 things I would recommend for this store now....
1) DO NOT LEAVE A TIP BEFORE YOU GET YOUR ORDER AT THAT STORE!
2) Look around and see whats going on with the workers at this store. If they are just standing around talking and you dont have 30 minutes to wait you might want to go elsewhere. While your watching them you might want to look and see food you want is even there basic cupcakes aren't even there most of the time now.
Iam a long time customer that has praised this family company since it was 1 store on Moreno Beach. This beaks my heart.

I love this place. The sandwiches are delicious not rubber like Starbucks and the lavender honey cupcakes( when available) are heaven on earth, they are delicate in flavor and not overbearingly sweet.

I went to this restaurant to purchase a pastrami sandwich for a patient. The sandwich was extremely greasy, the pastrami was dark brown and dried out. I had not purchased from this restaurant before, and I don't have any intention of purchasing again. I had to throw away a sandwich that was not edible. My patient was disappointed as well.

This location is amazing! The look of the place inside is sweet and it is much bigger than the other one in Moreno Valley! I got the fire-roaated chicken and pesto sandwich and it was amazing! I will definitely be coming back here!

I go to this store often and they have great staff, the service is quick, I ordered the croissant with cheese and jalapenos, it was so good 👍

The atmosphere is super chic yet casual, they offer several vegan options, and ALL their food I've had: sandwiches, cupcakes, drinks, and other sweets, have ALL been delicious!!

The staff has always seemed sweet and friendly, and it's always a pleasure to order there. Overall a great experience.

I really hope that this pandemic doesn't put them out of business, because I really appreciate having such a hip place with good food within walking distance from my house. They're pretty good about safety in preventing spread, and accommodate with online ordering/pickup, so I have high hopes that they'll pull through. I highly recommend and can't wait for things to go back to normal!

Clean .. I love there venue of cupcakes, dessesrts. Their menu of sandwiches excellent!!! Just wish I would have found this place sooner I am new in this area.

Great place the prices are comparable to Starbucks but best part no long lines.Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews or reviews. That person is negative on everything. How can you give bad review for pricing when you see that up front 🤦🏽

My wife and I love this place. There’s a little something for everyone here. The coffee is excellent. The cupcakes are cream cheese based I believe. Very good. They even have some vegan options
