I ordered avocado toast and my company ordered the omelette they were generous with the avocado. Coffee was great. The only thing is that the place is too small and the line is long.

Located at the heart of Monterey, they have a good list of menu for breakfast. Arrived fir brunch with a friend. Tried their mocha and was served in a mug-bowl. Their avocado toast was ok but not that impressive. However it was disappointing that we ordered it w/ poached eggs but they didn’t served it. We asked the waiter for our eggs and said they will served, but they didn’t and then billed us w/ eggs included. My friend argued about the eggs to be taken of the bill. Not a very good experience.

Quant little place with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was delicious, and they definitely don't skimp out on the portions. I would say you get a good amount of food for the price you pay as well. I ordered the sunrise tacos and my wife ordered the cafe scramble, and they were definitely worth it.

Among the best breakfast places I've tried in Monterey. Yes, there's often a line and service is spotty but the food and coffee are excellent. Last time I visited I had the Goat Cheese and Sun Dried Tomato Steamers with Bacon. Was delicious! 😋

I was introduced to The Wild Plum Cafe as a caterer for a wedding in Pacific Grove. THIS WAS THE BEST RECEPTION FOOD EVER! Naturally, I was drawn to their cafe and was just as impressed. The pastries were fresh and flavorful...including the crusts! I enjoyed one of their large and salads. My sister had soup and salad. It was so hard to choose from their varied menu. Each time I return to Monterey, I will stop by and take in the energy and the delicious food. Very impressed. Thank you.

We went to the neighboring restaurant the previous day for dinner (krua thai; I highly recommend it) and saw this breakfast place, so we decided to go the next morning. When we stepped in the restaurant we could tell that the food was high quality. The food took a while to be served, but was good. I got the basil frittata which came with potatoes and toast. The toast was very hard to bite down and I wish was accompanied with something, but the potatoes were divine! Would definitely come again if I had the chance.

Amazing. This little place is adorable and the food is even better. It’s a little pricey, but considering it’s organic and the location…andthe portions are ENORMOUS. (Photo is after I already ate a quarter of it. Lol)You could easily split with another person. I got the cafe scramble and it was probably the best breakfast scramble I’ve ever had. So buttery and full of flavor. Every single element in the scramble was perfect and mouthwatering. You could tell the food was made with care. The house coffee was super good too. The people seated next to me got dirty chai lattes and they were served in these enormous, adorable bowl like mugs. The breakfast scramble came with fresh homemade bread, butter and jam. Holy moly, I don’t know where they are getting this butter, but it was even better than the bread!! Don’t skip smearing some butter on the bread! :) I only wish I could get a half portion for half the price. I would come here every day if I could! :)

I was looking for a cool brunch spot, this seemed like it would be a good place. The drinks and service was amazing. The food slightly less so. If you like a chai latte or a good coffee would definitely recommend a visit. I took pancakes and poached eggs and was a little disappointed. The pancakes were cooked a little too long.

Got there right at opening on a Saturday. Tried the continental breakfast which consisted of fruit, a pastry, orange juice, coffee or hot chocolate. I also asked for a half side of sausage. They didn’t have any pastries that really appealed to me so I tried the apple coffee cake (for the cake not the apple). When the bill arrived I saw I was charged for the full side of sausage. Just an eh experience.

I had a potato chorizo bowl.. and let me tell you I was highly impressed with how good their dish tasted. And I paired it along with one of their huge espressos, it's about the size of a bowl so just beware you're not leaving they're hungry.
