Lightwave Coffee and kitchen

Ordered the beach laffa, coconut curry, and a pour over coffee, all of which were delicious. The staff is really friendly and the ambience / location is super relaxing. Go there, eat some food, have a coffee, and just enjoy life.

This place is a jewel among the redwoods of Monte Rio!
Stop by and savor the Shakshuka and other Israeli comfort foods, with vegan and gluten free options, if that’s your thing.
They also offer the usual coffee house beverages; coffee, espresso drinks, tea and smoothies and you can take home a bag of their organic coffee beans.
The cafe is nestled in a cozy spot along the Bohemian Highway, next to the community garden and skate park.
There is plenty of outdoor seating as well as a heated patio for chilly mornings.
The owners are a very friendly and warm, young couple who are very welcoming.
I’m so glad to have them and their cafe as part of our community.

Stopped in at Lightwave while on my way up the coast with my partner and we were happy we did! The iced coffee and homemade cheesecake was delicious and the people working there were super friendly. We loved the atmosphere and decorations as well. Would recommend to all!

The food and the vibe of a lively Tel Aviv coffeeshop with the excellent coffee you’d find in the best San Francisco coffeeshops - can’t think of a better combination. Add to that two lovely and welcoming owners and this becomes not just a must stop when you’re in the area, but also the reason you’d find excuses to come back. We literally asked the owners to open a branch in the Bay Area…

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great for a pit stop

This is a 5 star operation. I wish they would move to my neighborhood at home. The Avo & Egg bagel sandwich is heavenly. Okay, I was disappointed about something... The only offer the amazing cheesecake on the weekends. Also, they aren't opened on Monday and Tuesday, so I'll have to plan my next Russian River trip around their schedule! Yup, it's THAT level of great

This place is the go-to place in Monte Rio for coffee and breakfast and lunch. Next to the bus stop, skate park and gardens. The couple who run this place are doing a great job. They provide excellent service and you feel welcome the second you arrive. The food is delicious and they have home made desserts there every day.

Lightwave and their owners, Gal & Ori Ginzberg, are two of the most genuinely kind & beautiful people you will ever know. I love them, and their freshly made delicious food, drinks (smoothies), and the ambience.
