Best coffee in town! Friendly staff as well - you can tell they enjoy the craft. Small space, but has a lofted seating area as well. Great stop for the art nights (every 3rd Thursday).

Excellent coffee and the best almond milk latté I've ever had.

They make their own spice mix for the chai latte. The red velvet cake and the almond cake were really good! And not too sweet either.

No frills coffee shop in downtown Modesto. Great tasting coffee and very nice Barista.

The upstairs seating area was a perfect hiding spot to get some paperwork done. The staff was totally cool. Very friendly place!

Preservation has my favorite plain latte. Just a heads up, each shot is a double shot, so that may change the flavor of your coffee is your aren't prepared for it. I'm not going to lie though, preservation is pretty crammed as far as space, and it doesn't fit the cliche mold for coffee shop you'd camp out at for hours. There are almost no outlets, but there's always some eclectic artwork to look at.

This is a no frills coffee shop, nice ambient. My go-to is the clubhouse mocha (iced) quick and friendly service and in a convenient location. Really good coffee, would recommend.

It was a nice quaint place to have a coffee meeting.

The coffee was good but this is not the place to swing in to get a cup to go. I stopped and got a large coffee that was not that large for $4 plus tax and tip. When I went to get my coffee from the single air pot there was only about 2/3 of a cup left. I didn't have time to wait for more to be made so I took my 50 cent an ounce coffee and left.

Wonderful coffee, fun environment, not tons of seating but a couple extra seats upstairs or outside!
