Merced Fruit Barn

It reminds me of a smaller Casa de Fruta. Fresh produce, lots of nice gift shop items, local products, a nice deli. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating if yr stopping with a bus or crowd. You can walk around outside to see some animals, shady picnic tables. We will stop again when we pass through.

Was really nice. The birds was unexpected and cool. The workers were very polite. They have very good pies and dry fruits

Nice stop outside Merced for fresh fruits, juices, dried fruits and candy. Also a walk among the farm animals. A unique shop filled with knick-knacks.

The Fruit Barn is a wonderful roadside store that offers a variety of gifts along with a nice delicatessen if you are ready for lunch or a snack. They provide the shopper and traveler fruit, dried fruit, and nuts separately or in gift baskets seasonally. When traveling along East Highway 140 you need to stop in.

What an exceptional little secret hideaway.. lots of great merchandise. Local products. Love it

I love this place there there's so many things to see and buy I get my honey there I go pet the animals and they have a picnic in the back and also there's a little Deli in the inside wonderful sandwiches clientele is so sweet and nice you can meet all kinds of people there when it's busy nice place to take your kids are your parents or friends it's open to anyone come see for yourself it's beautiful out there.

They have huge birds in cages, and the birds looked very very sad.
Also, most of their products are in single use plastics that cannot be recycled and do not biodegrade.
I feel so sorry for the macaw, he was cowering in corner of his cage with head bent in sorrow.

Cute store with a good variety of products. They have a small barn next to the shop, and multiple cute birds.

A good place to visit as a rest spot. Restrooms aplenty. Good coffee , sandwiches, even live parrots to see. Farm animals ..a most stop with kids.
