Tierra Mia Coffee

If you are looking to experience a different taste of coffee ( no Starbucks), especially the Latin and Cuban variations, Tierra Mia is definitely a worthy choice. I have had all of their coffees in multiple locations, the Horchato flavored coffee and the Cubano are my favorites. The muffins are amazing, especially the tres Leche muffin is our family favorite. A five star coffee joint.

Walked into Terra mia in Lincoln heights wasnt greeted from none of the employees. When Cassandra walk up to regester to take my order she did not say hello or ask what I would like to order, just looked at me and I gave her my order. After I gave her my order I said Thank you and she just walked away. Very unfriendly workers. Will not come back to this location again...

Let it be known - I am at Tierra Mia at least twice a week! I get their filtered coffee because I like so much. It's strong and has great flavor. I have also tried all of their muffins! The Banana Nut or Blueberry are my personal favorite. The Tres Leche muffin is their most popular and while good, its very sweet (there is a condensed milk-like center). So depending on what you are looking for - there are options!

The staff is what makes it awesome though. They are very kind and I enjoy going there!

June 27,2021 - I like the drinks and the location. What I did not like is that I was asked to wear a mask prior to ordering. As I was leaving several people were ordering without wearing masks. The establishment has a right to have patrons wear a mask, I get it, but be consistent with enforcement among all guests. Not fair they pick and choose who can enter without wearing one. This is the only local establishment I know of that’s still enforcing masks.

Poor service!!! I ordered online and for some reason my order was incorrect which i was fine. The issue is I was standing there waiting for my order and I was not been acknowledged. Until I asked and realized my order was not correct which they didnt care. I added some pastries and the cashier didnt even great me I had to say Hi!!! For her to great me back What a poor customer service. Not like Starbucks they messed up or you messed up they do it right for you regardless. That's why Starbucks is so big and will continue expanding.

If you're a true Starbucks fan, this place would come in second. The staff are friendly and the pastries are way better than Starbucks. However the coffee is not so great well at least it taste good but it's nothing compared to Starbucks or even some of the mom-and-pop coffee shops around. But being a coffee shop and the staff are friendly and the pastries are good, the prices are on point and if you're looking to save money from Starbucks this is the place to go.

This location is big, has indoor and outdoor seating. Everyone is always welcoming every time I go. My favorite coffee is "The Cubano" aka The Cuban. But so far all there coffee's have been delicious!

Update 6/2022 I'm glad to see that they are finnaly getting new pastries. Considering this location was a bakery before, I have been hopeing for something new. And today I had thier strawberry tres leches muffin. It was very delicious!!!
