This will definitely be my go to brunch spot while I'm in LA. The service here is unmatched which is definitely a way to keep loyal customers. Everyone was so courteous & helpful. I could tell they were so busy but made sure to check on us several times. Even the manager (I think) took plates from our table and asked how the food was which I thought was really humble of him.

My bf and I stopped by The Coffee Company on a whim after hearing we should check it out from a coworker. We went on a Friday morning and was told the wait would be about 35 minutes (which isn't terrible). We walked around the neighborhood to pass the time.

Tip! They do have a live waitlist on Yelp so it'd be better to just add your name that way instead of in person to save time.

We both ordered hot tea (chamomile & mint) + ice water w/ lemon to start. They also have bottles of champagne starting at $10 (and more pricer bottles like Moet and Veuve Clicquot if you really want to ball out). I truly loved everything I ordered! I started with the shrimp & grits which was topped with tomatoes, bacon + scallions and it came with a side of eggs, toast and a watermelon slice. I don't know why but the slice of watermelon was a nice touch to me, different but I liked it. I also will say I grew up on southern food + live in the south so these grits tasted a little different than what I'm used to (like no cheese added) but everything on top was seasoned so well it was still a nice balance. I also ordered a side of chicken wings & honestly they were my favorite thing on the menu, if you're a meat eater it's a must try! I also had a bite of their pancake and it was fluffy and delicious

Their menu has so many options so I can't wait to come back again and try something else! :) I'd definitely recommend eating here.

This restaurant is wonderfully delicious no matter what you choose to eat on the menu! We’ve tried so many yummy options but today it was the delicious French Toast, Spicy Chicken Sausage, a Belgian waffle 🧇 thick Applewood Bacon 🥓, Eggs 🍳 Shrimp 🍤 and Grits, homemade Biscuits, Crepes and Cajun Fried White Fish and a Cappuccino with a soft bread cookie on the side plus fresh squeezed orange 🍊 juice too top off the glass of Champagne 🥂 Everything was delicious as expected Thank you for the lovely ambiance and the outstanding customer service with a smile. The staff should be applauded for their efforts and friendliness and hospitality it was much appreciated. We will definitely be back again. If you’re looking for somewhere with all around good food this is the place definitely 👍🏽
Thank you for a blessed beautiful day at your restaurant

Love to stop by there for the breakfast before myself or someone else I’m with flights. Good amount of portion and traditional American food. Tasty

Was in LA for the weekend and took my cousin and her hubs out to breakfast. They suggested this place and I'm glad they did!!! I was told to try J. Nichols, but they wanted to come here. I've had better Shrimp and Grits but BABY, the pancakes were probably the best I've ever had!!!! They were light and fluffy!!! And bonus points for serving hot syrup!!! I can't wait to go back to LA to have those pancakes again!!!

The food was delicious. I had french toast and an omelet. The portions are very friendly and once your order is in the food comes quick. The prices are reasonable as well. I ate my food so fast I didn't get a picture. The restaurant was super busy. I'd recommend.

Ummm, I finally ordered from the Coffee Company after working down the street from them for 7 years. I must say I was very disappointed. Grits looked like porridge had no flavor. The oil didn’t make it any better. The grits were stuck to the recycled container and was very thick and weird tasting. The only thing that had flavor was the shrimp. I ate the shrimp and boiled eggs.

Went here for brunch with a few friends as we live nearby and had seen the good reviews online however the food is beyond average and extremely expensive for what it is.

Wait is long & service can be slow. I got the ratatouille omelette and it was not good (unseasoned and flavors did not mesh well together). We also got the pancakes + biscuits and gravy and both were also disappointing.

Was surprised by the food as we had seen the amount of good reviews on the place. There are many other brunch places that are better tasting for a better price.

This place was cute, but the wait was more than 15 minutes. We did not mind, as there was outside seating. Nice and busy place. Bring your own quality maple syrup. The prices were waaaaay too high. The portions were too small for the prices. Parking was easy. Okay, we went early, but still a nice crowd. The staff were great. They even took our picture.

Great place to eat with the family. The food is good. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I wish I had taken more pictures but as mentioned, the food is good. I can't remember how long the wait was but I didn't feel long. Definitely bringing my mama next time. Recommended for sure.
