I RECOMMEND this place!
I came to this "The Coffee Company" at 8751 La Tijera Blvd, Westchester, CA 90045 to eat lunch. It was 12 O'Clock and the place was very bussy.
The menu was nice and had many options. There wasn't any pictures of any meal on the menu.
I ordered "Fresh spinach & mushroom omelette", price $17 with a cup of coffee and toast.
Altough the place was full with customers, the coffee was served within 5 min after I placed the order, less than 12 min later the omelette was served, and the the toasts came 2 min later.
The amount of salt in the omelette was very low and I could add more salf myself if needed, compare to many other restaurantes that adding to much salt in the food.
The only issue was the mix of potato, caramelized onion and tomato sauce which I didn't like. It didn't taste good and could been better made.
Total score: RECOMMANDED!
Here are some pictures I took.

This is actually one of the good brunch places in LA and a perfect place to stop by if you're landing in LAX in the morning. However, our experience has been hit or miss, last time being one of the very bad ones when I took my friend. Food came decently quick given how busy they were. I got a French toast combo which is one of the popular items. French toast was partially dipped in the egg making it dry considering $20 for a plate. I forgot to take a pic of the whole plate but I took pic of my French toast which will tell how bad it was. I didn't send it back, because it's common sense how fresh toast should be. Remaining items were good - chicken sausage, skillet, pancakes, and coffee.
The worst part of the experience was the server and the other staff being on our face giving us hint to leave. We waited for 50 min to get the table which is understandable for Saturday. We were half way done through when we got our check and while we were still eating and drinking coffee our server hovered around us and asked us how we were doing 20 times when she only stopped by once after serving the food. I worked as a server when I was in school and I understood the importance of having tables turn around quickly on weekend and I respect that. But I was still eating pancakes and had coffee refill and it was so uncomfortable how much they hovered around us and kept hinting way too much to the point we started feeling nervous. So we finally left before actually being done.
Their management needs to pay attention to this. When people wait for 40 min to an hour to get a table, you need to respect that they want to have a good time and most importantly finish their meal and drinks.
Will we be going back? Well very doubtful.

We stumbled upon this fantastic diner while picking my son up at LAX. We had the Hawaiian bread French toast and the shrimp and grits. Both were fantastic!!
The service was great and staff was friendly. We would definitely come back again.

I was there this morning around 11:30am. My daughter and I walk up, the young lady say it will be about 30 mins, no worries. We walked around and got a text and we were seated. We were seated in the middle section, I don’t know who our waiter was because he did not tell me his name. We order, griddle meal with chicken tenders and scrambled eggs, grits and chicken tenders for myself. My food was disgusting, eggs not scrambled grits are lumpy. The waiter say no the eggs are scrambled they just cook them in a skillet and pour them onto the plate. I say fine and start scrambling my own eggs and cut the chicken up. I try to eat and and it’s disgusting… I ask for the manager, SUPER RUDE!!! I tell him I’m not going to pay for food I did not eat, he says well, you already cut the food up and tried the food I can not take it off the bill. I did not eat anything, so he comes back and says he can give me a discount. Bill was 50.00 the discount total for me to pay was 44.00.
I did not eat anything…. I did not want to argue because my daughter was there I paid the bill and we left with her meal that she did not finish. I am so in happy with this service, the manager was a young guy, he had something on his arm and lacked basic customer service. I would not be upset if I actually ate the food everything was still there. On top of that when I told him the eggs were not scrambled he looked at the plate and said it looks like they are to me… excuse me I scrambled the half cooked eggs myself.. never again will we be back there. My daughter loves the pancakes there but not any more!!!

1st time here. Can't wait to go back. The coffee ☕️ was fantastic. Very favorable. I had pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. EXCELLENT. I love ❤️ how the syrup is served warm.
The condiments on the table were well stocked with various jam flavors, various coffee creamer flavors including non-dairy, and several hot sauces.
They serve a very well-rounded menu from southern favorites like shrimp and grits, chicken, and waffles to various omelets, country potatoes, catfish, and various vegetarian options..
The host and the server were very nice. The restaurant was clean, well lite, and nicely busy.
Definitely will visit again.

Breakfast was a lobster omelette with avocado, what can I say? Delicious, little pricey, but not bad. And they have apple butter in packets...pancakes were light and fluffy. Enjoyed this meal a great deal! Would definitely return for more...

Established in 1978, this is a Los Angeles icon. When you eat here, you are stepping into an important historical mainstay that we hope will always remain that way.
We came here on a self guided tour through the LA Conservatory called Rolling Through the 70s in a concerted effort to really get to know the city we call home. And that knowing starts with appreciating the rich and diverse history of this incredible city. So often in LA, we show up somewhere to eat without really knowing what we are experiencing. I probably would have done the same here if I didn’t understand what I was coming to see.
We grabbed a couple coffees and we’re off but best believe we’ll be back for the real deal experience. I could tell by the long lines and smiling faces of the customers that this place will not disappoint.

Loved both the breakfast burrito & shrimp & grits.
Good portion of shrimp, which was cooked to perfection. I wish there was extra sauce for the grits.
The side potatoes were delicious and had a little kick.
The service was also nice!

Listen..please do yourself a favor and get the shrimp and grits. I got mine without cherry tomorrow just out of personal preference but when I tell you the shrimp was so flavorful and the grits were cooked to perfection! I’m a shrimp and grits fan and I have to tell you these rank in my top 5 in the US that I’ve visited. Also, the atmosphere gave me so many nostalgic feelings from my youth. Jackson 5 playing through the speakers. The customer service was also top notch.

Delicious food, very cute decor. Indoor and outdoor seating. Excellent customer service, can get really busy I would suggest joining the waitlist. Pictured the Spicy Chicken Sausage Skillet and Biscuits. Shrimp and Grits, and Lobster Omelette side of potatoes and Biscuits.
