Lo/Cal Coffee & Market - Fairfax

Lovely place except smoke filled and it gets in your clothes and hair. Great coffee and amazing food! Truly! But... They need to install proper ventilation or keep the windows open. Every time we come in here it's filled with smoke from their cooking and frying. Please do something about this so we can spend more time here. A great coffee shop.

There's no better coffee shop in Los Angeles and that's a fact. I heard Obama say it once so it has to be true. But no joke, that pastrami sandwich has my grandma rolling in her grave cursing that she didn't come up with the recipe herself.

Lo/Cal is a neighborhood gem. I stumbled upon the coffee shop last month and now it’s a weekly stop for me! The coffee is amazing— I love the honey lavender latte both hot and iced. The chocolate chip banana muffins are delicious when warmed up and pair nicely with the coffee. It’s always a pleasant experience chatting with the staff and checking out the new plants! Very affordable plants and a nice little selection of gifts. Be sure to check Lo/Cal out if you’re in the area!

OK coffee and pastries but the food was low-effort and underwhelming for the price.

Stopped here for breakfast and had the breakfast sandwich and a drip coffee. Both were very good. It's funny, when the person behind the counter listed the items on the sandwich my first thought was "I'm not sure that will all go together well." It went together extremely well. Their sandwiches are well thought out and it was unique and pleasant taste experience.

Super aesthetic, it is a lovely place to sit down and have a drink. Their drip coffee is fairly flavorful on its own with a slight bitterness from the beans( which I enjoy). The service was alright.

Amazing new addition to the neighborhood!! A+ coffee, delicious matcha, and great selection of little bites. And they have a bunch of unique gifts/goodies to check out while your waiting for your order. Staff is always friendly and welcoming as well!

Finally got a chance to check out this place and the service was amazing. It's quiet for work and all the plants makes it so peaceful. Only downside they close at 3pm and I like to work late, but their watermelon kombucha on tap makes up for that.
