Every single thing we got here was amazing. I can't recommend the buckwheat banana bread, the bacon quiche, and the mushroom chausson highly enough. Delicious!

Good quality food. Most lunch items are $10-$15. Food is more on the savory side. Baguette is crusty and delicious. Lots of seating some street parking was available at lunch on a weekday.

Hilariously overpriced. I dont mind the bob burgers meets millenial look of the staff and the place. I also must admit the quality of the food is really good but you pay about 300% of what you should pay. The orange juice came in a 200ml jam jar which I guess was intended to make it look groovy. For 2 sandwiches, 2x tea, 1x orange juice and 1x pastrie we had to pay $ 50,00. You decide weither or not that is a fair (trade) price. Never again.

Great to go or sit down cafe. Friendly staff. Quick service. Everything you order is wonderful! All of their ingredients are fresh! Definitely a go to for breakfast and brunch!

This review is biased since I only had one thing there and many of the items looked really good. I ordered an everything bagel with butter and the bagel, while not exceptional was ok but the butter was ice cold and I had to mangle the thing in order to spread it around. I can't recommend the bagel and butter so try something else if you're here.

Great little cafe. Good coffee and good variety of seating and breakfast items with some interesting non mainstream pallette choices... like the olive oil fried eggs with harissa. Get there early and you can enjoy a nice spot for reading, a chat, or work from your laptop.

Pastries and other baked goods made with whole grains (much of it grown in SoCal like Sonora wheat) and savory brunch classics like quiche with a Pacific Coast twist (Dungeness crab) in a hipster diner/cafe setting. The highlight of our brunch was definitely the buckwheat pancake with seasonal compote.

Friends & Family seems like a work in progress, but I’m rating it 4.5 stars rounded up to 5 mainly for the buckwheat pancake, which I loved.

I missed the opportunity to try the chefs’ dishes at the old Cooks County a few years ago, but glad Daniel Mattern and Roxana Jullapat opened up their own place in Hollywood. Looking forward to trying more dishes and bakery items in the future.

Freshness abounds even if the portions may be a tad skimpy for the price point. But good menu options and an easy-going atmosphere lends to an overall enjoyable experience. A total recommend.

Like all the other reviews it was a bit pricey $28 for breakfast for one with a coffee. Other than that the food was really good and the coffee was nice and fresh

I can't recommend this place enough. The best break, pastries, brunch, and bread of course. Oh and coffee
