I am a HUGE fan of the Coffee For Sasquatch.

I adore a coffee shop that has table for study and using internet. I was studied near there. Thank you.

The decorating is impeccable which helps set a really chill, cool, laid back vibe.
Awesome spot! With friendly folks who work the counter.

While not exactly a regular, I’ve enjoyed Cafe for Sasquatch with increasing frequency. Their baristas are friendly and skillful and conversational, their little nibbles appropriately bite-sized fun.

What makes me happiest here is design. It’s possible to get a great americano or latte elsewhere, but this place combines coffee with inviting yet private space. Bright walls, muted with cloud-like creams and greys, whimsical hints of plants, and curving stone reminiscent of marble move you through the space—which in other hands would be a pretty bland rectangle. I like that wherever I sit feels like a private place for intimate conversation, good for study or catching-up with a best mate.

Their liverpool lattes are extremely delicious!

Initially, I ordered the honey cardamom & got the liverpool latte for my bf. However, when I took sips of both lattes, I was immediately won over by the liverpool latte. The honey cardamom is made with some type of spice, while the liverpool is made with earl grey tea steeped in coffee with vanilla and milk. The cashier said that both were popular lattes so I wanted to try them, but I guess the liverpool fit my taste buds better.

They were both $6 and an extra $0.50 for using oat milk instead of dairy milk. Although it's a bit more than your typical coffee, it's well worth the cost because of their unique, high quality taste. Also, s/o to my cashier for being super friendly and accommodating. I was hesitant about what drink to get considering it was my first time there, but he said not to worry and that he would change my drink to another item on the menu if I didn't like the honey cardamom. Since I preferred the liverpool latte, he had no problem in changing my drink to that one. 5 stars for the excellent customer service!! Looking forward to coming back here again.

I write for a music and coffee blog called Crooners In Coffeeshops, in which I interview local musicians at local coffeeshops. My writeup reflects the positive experience that I encountered at Coffee For Sasquatch
on our interview date.

If you’ve adventured around the Hollywood area, you’d probably know that the Melrose/Fairfax and Hancock Park areas are home to an abundance of boutique style shops and café style restaurants. Smack dab in the middle of all of the excitement lies a cozy shop called Coffee For Sasquatch, so cozy that you could easily miss it unless you were actively looking for it. But when you finally step inside, you are not only greeted by the wonderful smell of freshly roasted coffee, but also welcomed by Sasquatch himself – well, a living plant wall of the hairy legend. Beautiful green plants give the shop a lovely contrast against its white, tan, and marbled interior while modern furniture designs is the whipped cream on top of the clean, sharp, visually appealing latte. The shop is perfectly laid out for reserved solo visitors and intimate conversations, but larger parties (4+) should consider arriving earlier or in the late afternoon as its popularity can make it difficult to find seating to suit your needs.

What Coffee For Sasquatch may lack in size they make up for with their food and drink menu. Traditional comfort foods like sandwiches, quiches, and donuts (or for health-conscious folk, fonuts) are perfectly displayed in the glass case next to the register, and trust me, it’s pretty darn hard to turn down their mouth-watering seduction. Once you’ve decided to either give in to grabbing a snack or are strong enough to only order a coffee, your next difficult decision is what caffeinated beverage you will be sipping on. Their menu consists of a fun mix of classic coffee options (Matchas, Chais, Americanos, Cortados, Cappuccinos) and sweet lattes, which include a Nutella Latte, a Liverpool Tea Latte, and a colorful Cryptid Latte (Vanilla Latte with colored latte art). While I knew that I would be happy with pretty much anything on the menu, I was intrigued by their seasonal menu that included a Cardamom Latte. It was sweet, it was savory, it was creamy, it packed a punch on the caffeine aspect, and the latte art was absolutely adorable – everything that you could possibly want in a moderately priced cup of coffee!

Some of the most memorably delicious cold brews plus stand-out ceremonial matcha. There are so many coffee shops in LA yet so few you can actually get work done AND hear yourself think - this is definitely one of the few. 🤩🙏🏻

Can't argue with a place that draws its mascot out of plants on the wall! Also, the coffee is fantastic. Definitely a good spot for an iced latte on a hot LA day!

Great espresso drinks and coffee . They are using Ritual Coffee from San Francisco and a La Marzocco Strada. I believe they also use a rotating selection from other roasters. A small selection of sweets is also available. The place looks amazing with its design. For all this I'd give them 5 stars but I have to deduct one for their service: 4 people were working behind the counter and 1 guest was ahead of me (and no one behind me) yet they simply forgot to make the 1 drink I ordered (cappuccino). They all seemed very confused about what they do /or should do. Maybe they will settle in after a while as they haven't opened that long ago.
