The unique name initially pulled me in and now I have a hard time passing Coffee For Sasquatch without stopping. They offer a wide variety of well-crafted coffee drinks made by talented baristas using some of the best beans available (Ritual). Surprisingly, they've also achieved a comfortable, airy setting despite being only a rock's throw from one of the busiest intersections in LA. I've visited many a coffee shop both near and far and this one holds up as one of the best. If your weekly commute takes you through the Melrose area, stop in sometime (make sure to park in the back) and treat yourself to one of the better cups in the area. The pastries are solid as well and the whole bean bags for sale are pricey but well worth the cost.

8am need my coffee. Wanted to support local business not Starbucks. Big regret. Cute place ,yucky coffee( Cold brew) and the drip coffee with no half and half. The guy said “we are running low in half and half .Expensive and no smiley faces. NOT RECOMMENDED

I'd really enjoy every time I went to this coffee shop. The staff here is always accommodating and friendly. It was such a cozy shop and there is always plenty of comfy seats to sit in. I couldn't have asked for better service from this place. I thoroughly recommend this place to all coffee lovers.

CFS is a very unique and quirky, fun looking shop. Cleanliness is excellent, coffee good and service excellent.
It is just east of La Brea on Melrose and next to Golden Apple Comics. Iconic Pinks hot dogs is just up the street.
The only minuses are no outdoor seating to enjoy the sun, above avg. prices and a small food selection(no bagels).
Recommended.

Great place to have coffee and pastries! Really deserves it's good ratings. Coffee is from ritual coffee and is really well prepared, pastries are really good too! Got the caramel coconut cookie that was amazing as well as the moist blueberry muffin.

Very nice atmosphere and staff. I wish I had gotten coffee instead of the matcha latte. I was hoping for something sweet, but it wasn't. Now I know for next time!

One of the best specialty coffee shops in the area! Consistently delicious and they truly care about the quality of coffee, and every drink feels special. They use Ritual coffee, which is a SF-based and woman-owned roaster :)

The whole vibe is chill. Coffees, lattes and small bites are all delicious and the small outdoor seating section is a great place to relax street-side.

I went there today for the first time and I am so glad I discovered my favorite coffee shop in Los Angeles. I never write reviews, but today I am writing my first one.
CFS is so beautifully decorated, has such friendly baristas, who btw play such amazing music. Overall, great vibes!
