I really enjoy the coffee and the friendly atmosphere. If you stay and sit outside,you're sure to strike up a conversation with the locals.

One of the best espresso Cuban coffee double shots I've ever had. Even my Cuban relatives on my Mother's side didn't even make them this good. Highly recommended, the owner Jim is a real nice guy, the quality of the product and the customer service is beyond superb

Fun coffee menu with some unique choices.. I love the vegan saluted caramel! We have been going to their coffee stand at the farmers market for a couple years, I am so excited for their permanent location!

Mountain Moon Coffee is conveniently located in the Belmont Shore community of Long Beach. We have had this coffee before but I have to tell you that its best if they make if for you. There are unique recipes that are offered and they are delicious. Definite must try.

After at least 5 five visits here, I can’t resist raving about how awesome these folks are. They are so friendly, the drinks are amazing, and the store is lovely. I love the to go pouches as well. Absolutely brilliant. I will frequently order a drink to enjoy in the shop, and then take a pouch to go. I am not vegan but the vegan butterscotch is one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. So happy to have a neighborhood coffee spot like this!

They set up at the farmers market every Sunday as well. Great while bean coffee and they offer vegan drinks.

I came here thinking this was going to be my new favorite coffee shop as I was looking for a place with unique drinks, but my experience definitely changed that. I received my drink in a size smaller than I had ordered, so I asked if I had received the right one. She said, with annoyance, that it was the wrong size and that she would remake it. Then told me I could keep both drinks with an attitude, acting as if I had purposely received the wrong size to get a free drink. Are you serious? So rude and ridiculous. The coffee wasn't even good unfortunately.

BEST COFFEE EVER!! They have an amazing coffee farm in Costa Rica and roast the beans locally. I not only go regularly to their coffee shop, but buy the beans for my expresso maker. I can’t have any other coffee, since Moon Mountain is the best by far. Come and support a locally owned business, not corporations like Starbucks. I highly recommend everyone give them a try! I love their Vietnamese and coconut date coffees!

Almost forgot I went here!!! I kinda stumbled upon it. I had the iced tres leches coffee and it was so good. Sat out front enjoying 2nd Street homeless antics. I hate most coffee places (with the exception of my usual place of 18yrs) but this place was good and even better if you use the shared bathroom because you smell the good stuff being sold of the funky gift shop around the corner that has some really cool stuff. The staff was knowledgeable and cool people. This place will get another visit from me.
