Ground Hideout Coffee

I love the seating arrangements inside, it's quite comfortable and they have seating outside as well. They have clean bathrooms and the staff is very friendly. I usually get a double espresso and carbonated water and it is always spot-on. I haven't tried their food yet. There's plenty of parking in metered areas nearby.

Blueberry Latte was incredible, quality mocha as well. The ham and cheese croissant could use a little work, but the staff was super kind. Small location but plenty of street parking.

Love this little cafe. The family that runs this place are always sweet to talk to and they have never messed up an order. Also, they serve Verve coffee (which is really good!) and they use high quality ingredients. Be sure to give this place a try. Oh and they have nice outdoor seating.

This place is legit and it has everything I need for a perfect breakfast AND more. I came into town hungry and nothing else was open - so happy to see that they had a hot meal menu. I got a hearty biscuit meal with cut ham, egg & cheese that was exceptionally filling - exactly what I was needing. I also got a peppermint tea and shot of something. I don’t mind having to drive all the way from Cerritos to get my third wave coffee fix since quality to me is aways aways worth it.

I also got to speak to the owners and it was nice to also get to chat and thank them for a solid business in the area. I was living in Santa Monica for years so I’m glad there are good standards in Long Beach, too.

Nice family-owned coffee shop! The white chocolate mocha I ordered was one of my favorite cups of coffee I've ever had. 😋
I ordered the breakfast burrito, and my husband ordered the breakfast sandwich, and both were delicious!

The food and drinks here were very good. The staff is super kind and the music they play is calming. It a great cafe to come to to get some work done and have a snack.

We were from out of town. What I had:. Pumpkin Spice muffin. How was it. Fabulous. Obviously hand baked not factory , it tasted great would have eaten two rich taste and great sweetness. Coffee was rich and I went back for a second. Couldn't reuse my cup, Probably COvid protocol. Wish I didn't have to waste it. Overall great tiny place to have you morning coffee.

ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!!! 💖 This is such a lovely spot. A must try if you are in the area. We loved their food and drinks. We got turkey paninis, a breakfast burrito, and a chaggacino. WOW WOW just SCRUMPTIOUS *chefs kiss*!! 😍 Customer service was incredible as well! The staff was so kind and welcoming!! I’m in awe with the amazing service we received. I highly highly recommend! The aesthetic, food, and vibes are perfection!! A wonderful spot overall!!! 🥰 *Update: The Almond Butter Banana Toast is delishhh! Muahh* 😘

Just went here and got a cold brew and avocado toast w/added bacon
Soo good they put tons of avocado which is great and I like how the bacon was broken up on top and not just strips. Didn’t even think of that but it makes it way easier to eat! And they don’t skimp on the bacon either. Very friendly staff as well.

Wow. This family owned coffee shop is the best in long beach. The atmosphere is inviting, the seasonal lattes are interesting and flavorful, and the pastries are quite varied and delicious. I am eager to try their breakfast burritos next, as they have a decent food menu.
