Jackies Cafe

within the last two years Jackies Cafe really picked up on their service. It is 10× better than I had expected since I last was here in 2013. Overall the the food has always been great here. They have much better quality for for the same price as Denny's. Personally I'm a Denny's hater, I think their quality is low for their price, however here at Jackies they do have a good price for good food. I'm glad they picked up on their service, making this Cafe truly earn a 5 star review.

I had court early in the morning so i didn't get a chance to eat breakfast. After i was done i stopped at this cafe to eat. This was me & my babes first time eating their & I must say the food is great. The service is ok , & I only say ok because the waitress didnt ask us if we've been there before. I still give it a 5 star

I have eaten at two locations of this fine local group of restaurants! What a treat-portions are close to logger sized and the food is great tasting! The waitresses are friendly and they keep the coffee cup full. The prices might be a bit more than the average however the portions are very generous!

I would have liked to try their food, which was the reason I went into the restaurant. I was a potential first time customer, but my first impression of the service was less than desirable. I came in and sat at a table. No service. Five other parties came in after me and were greeted with menus and had their drink orders taken. I was glanced at by some of the staff, but was never greeted, even with no drink, food, or let alone a menu sitting in front of me. I told the staff of their mistake and I left for a different restaurant. I will give them another chance in due time, but until then the poor rating stands. Will they come through? We will see....

The wait staff could be a bit more friendly.
They don't wear name tags or even introduce themselves when the approach the table!
They didn't even ask me if I would like a box so I could take home my leftovers!!!

Food is delicious. Pricey. I wasn't impressed with our waitress. Customer service, make me feel welcome since I am spending my money to be served. Other then that it's good.

Looked so crowded, but that's a good thing. Food was so very good. I had the Bacon Scrambler and my daughter had Alex's Eggs Hollandaise (forgot correct name) w/herb roasted potatoes both so delicious. Also got side of pancakes yum!

This place is rad. They had no qualms with me inviting a modern day street urchin who looked like she just stepped out of a Charles Dickenson novel to eat with us, much to the chagrin of the, mostly older, white clientele. The wait staff was very kind, reiterating several times to take as l much time as we needed, even after I heard an older lady scoff the first time it was said. They probably seen her there regularly and haven't had the capacity to help. You could tell the poor girl wasn't used to social interaction and was experiencing a heavy psychosis. Despite her incintrisities, it was easy to see her soul especially when, 1/2 way through lunch the tears were pouring down her face and when our eyes met I saw a glimpse of the suffering she smiles through. She politely excised her self. After a few minutes, I went to check on her. Smiling I offered her a cigarette, which she declined and then out of her mouth came one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard and an exact quote from my girlfriend, who I love dearly, that passed away 8 months ago. Either she was (I know this sounds crazy) chanelling my girlfriend or by some odd coincidence or synchronicity she said, "All you have to do to make me happy is smile". Now I know what they mean when the say, "that made my heart melt" it felt like a bowl of warm pudding, lol. To everyone and to everything to make that moment what it was, thank you. I used to say to my girlfriend that our love transcends space, time and dimension. I truly believe that and perhaps it does.

Nothing special. Normal diner. Helpful customer service, not overly kind, but quick and efficient. Ordered my daughter the "dinosaur" pancake from the kids menu 😂 it was a normal round pancake with a thin strip of pancake on top, I'm guessing it was supposed to be a neck/head but it was definitely not a dinosaur. Pancakes are good in flavor but definitely overpriced for what you get, they're very thin. Basically a cake-y crepe if I'm being honest, they're that thin. Everything "can be added" as in strips of bacon or sausage aren't included in any of the meals which is fine but can get pricey, if like me you like a little bit of everything.

Absolutely love Jackie's for breakfast, and I'm not even big on breakfast food. We have been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. The service is always on point and the food is always excellent. I have tried at least three different types of omelets and they have all tasted great. I try and get something different every time, and so far my favorite is the crab omelet. That one is definitely a must try if you like seafood or crab. It's a nice mix of crab, avocado, and mushrooms topped with hollandaise sauce. My wife is a fan of thier B.L.A.S.T. sandwich which she has ordered on more than one occasion. She loves that they have a wide variety of menu options, whether it be for breakfast or lunch. The one thing that sets Jackie's apart from the rest are thier herb potatoes. Those things are so tasty and delicious. They blow every others restaurant's country potatoes away by a mile. Jackie's can get pretty busy, especially on weekends. I like that they can accommodate large parties. We have been here a couple times with 10+ people and we did not have a problem being seated. Overall an awesome restaurant with a huge menu of breakfast food and sandwiches. They also off bakery items as a side which is very cool.
