The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

If you’re going to bother posting hours. You need to stick to them. It’s 530 Christmas Day and I offered my family some good coffee since I knew they were open at this location. But they’re not for some reason. I get it, it’s Christmas Day. But don’t post hours and not honor them.

Just went in to order and Kassandra at the front didn’t say any pleases or thank yous at all. I did, I always do. I even gave a tip against my better judgement, which I know she can see at the end of the transaction and STILL no thank you. I believe a thank you is justified regardless but a tip didn’t even motivate her enough for a thank you. What a joke.

Always a good time here. So good, so clean, sooooo much better than Starbucks. Highly rec the matcha latte with oat milk.

So their blenders were broken. That's not why they get two stars as I realize that happens. The issue is where the let you know the blender is broken. They put the sign where you order so you are in the drive-thru line (and trapped by several cars) when you find out.

This means one of two things:

They are incompetent and not smart enough to realize they should let someone know they can't serve them what they want until they have wasted several minutes of their time.

or

They are unethical and know that once they have a person trapped in the 15-20 minute line, they are bound to order something as opposed to seeing the sign early and going somewhere else.

Probably the last time I visit the establishment.

Can I give a negative one? The cold brew was the worst ever. Tasted like sludge. Maybe they didn’t add water to the concentrate? First and last time.

Love this place! The service is great and I love the drive through. If you in the Laguna Woods area you must try it.

Good place for a coffee and light snacks(from a bakery). Visited first time & impressed with the staff and freshness. Tried frappe and pastry and both taste good. Place is quite clean and relaxing. Staff is very friendly and service was fast. Good place to stop and have a coffee.

The coffee is ok. Expensive. Limited food availability and seating. Place seems somewhat sterile to me but my wife likes it--partly because it isn't a Starbucks.

My go-to study spot. Nice servers. Good collection of teas.

love this place and the drive thru is never super busy
