One of the best Indian restaurant in town! Great selection of chicken plates for all kind of customers, those you love spicy food, or those you prefer mild. The naan bread was delicious and fresh made. We tried the garlic one , and we loved it. Naan Stop will definitely be our favorite place to eat Indian food.

The Chicken Masala was fantastic, and paired great with their garlic naan. My opinion is a bit biased because I love Indian food, but overall a very charming little restaurant.
Sami is usually running the register and is a very warm guy. His suggestions are fantastic if you don't know what you want.

no difference between the taste of what we cook at home in india and what we had here. Outstanding.

I came here expecting low quality but cheap Indian food and was pleasantly surprised. The dishes are quite tasty and the lamb I ordered was prepared perfectly, which is not easy. The pre-prepared dishes are cheap and the regular dishes are still just below average price. Definitely coming back.

I was going to give a 3/5, because the food wasn’t bad, and I thought maybe I just have high standards of Indian. But the Chicken Tikka wasn’t very spicy or flavorful, it was 10$ for a small container of Chicken Tikka which was their largest size. I have nothing against dark meat, but traditionally Chicken Tikka is made with white meat and this was dark meat, which is fine but not as high quality/is much cheaper. Less than 20 minutes after eating this my stomach started hurting and is still uncomfortable (and my stomach isn’t easily upset). Also, they use styrofoam which is just cheap and lazy and bad for the environment. However, I will say that the staff was friendly and it was a very easy in store experience.

The hospitality here was great when we went. The food had naan stop flavor! So delicious and affordable. Great spot for vegitarians as it has many options to pick from so that you can enjoy your meal now and still come back later to try other new options and combinations. They provided samples and helpful information in case one has allergies or preference. I highly recommend trying this place. I look forward to coming back and trying more of their foods.

I used to love this place. Recently they changed their prices so that, instead of getting a better deal on larger orders, large to go containers cost disproportionately more than their smaller counterparts.
8oz Chicken is 5.75
12oz Chicken is 9.75
The difference in volume is 150%
The difference in price is 170%
Then they charge an extra dollar if you want Chicken Tikka Masala!
They clearly changed their pricing to a more predatory model to take advantage of drunk college students. This is a sad cash grab from a great restaurant. I cannot recommend this place anymore. If you want to get a delicious Indian feast, go to Masala Spice.

I ordered takeout and didn’t know which chicken curry to buy. I was asked to taste test 3 flavors. My choice was very good for the very low price. The spinach with tofu was also interestingly good and delish!

I am actually obsessed with this place! Their samosas are so delicious, very flaky on the outside and moist on the inside. I love the new veggie korma they have begun serving. I wish they would bring back the vegetable rice, but I have truly enjoyed every meal I've ever had there! I love the clever name and I am stoked about the boba tea - especially the Taro! SO good! love naan stop

Love Naan Stop, an old favorite. I used to come here all the time when I was younger. Had an opportunity to pick some up today for the first time in a very long time, and I must say that it is just as good as I remember. And now I feel like I have been neglecting this IV gem. One of the last of the old, long running restaurants. I truly hope that the gentrification of Isla Vista won't make Naan Stop go. I have loved every dish I've tried here.
