I’ve been here quite a few times and it really is a great spot to get together with friends because of the size of the space. However, every time I’ve gone the vibes are all around not really it. The staff is never all that friendly aside from one girl with a fro from the first time I went a year or so ago. It’s pretty disappointing because I love supporting black owned establishments but I’ll more than likely take my business elsewhere going forward.

The food is good though so if you do encounter staff that are kind more power to ya. I just enjoy going places for a well rounded experience and this doesn’t provide that in my opinion.

The waffles were amazing. And the tater tots were delicious. This establishment is designed very well. However menu is a tad bit pricey. But I would still visit again !

My new found creative space to work and escape from the world. First timer, I order the Matcha-Chata with an additional lavender base. YUMMMMY! The setup and design is fantastic too. Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy and mingle!

Pricey but the atmosphere is very nice and my latte was so good!

TL;DR Great breakfast burrito, fresh berries, will order again!

I ordered a breakfast burrito with a side of berries through Uber Eats. The burrito was delicious! Eggs, potatoes, black bean, cheese, some veg, and small container of bright tangy green salsa. It was well prepared, presented, and warm when it got to me. The berries were FRESH! I usually hesitate to order berries at places because they'll carelessly serve mushy blueberries, or waterlogged, mushy raspberries, but all of my fruit were very fresh and high quality, and the strawberries were cut with care. That alone made it top notch for me! ❤️

Note: Ordering food with Uber is expensive. Don't ding the restaurant for that! I could have driven to pick it up and cut my total in half.

Good vibes only is definitely the right motto, beautiful place, good music and even better food and coffee.

Oh can’t forget the kind staff !

I came around 10 am on a Sunday and hung out for an hour and some change. When I arrived, there were a few patrons already seated or waiting for their food. By the time I left, there was a line out the door!

I got a breakfast bowl and an almond turmeric latte. Both tasted great! The staff were really kind and offered great service as well.

The inside is decorated beautifully with all kinds of Black art (you'll even find the wifi password hidden in one of the pieces, or you could just ask lol). They have ample seating upstairs and downstairs if you wanted to stay a while and work. I wish I was in LA more often because this would be my coffee shop of choice.

Their coffee is just decent, but the breakfast sandwiches and waffles are really good. They are overpriced but I love supporting this Black owned business with great vibes. Can’t wait to get back and enjoy their live music.

The chorizo croissant was disappointing. It had two pieces of pepperoni, I imagined actual chorizo, I wouldn’t recommend this item. Everything else was good, had a pistachio latte which was good. It’s a great place to work on stuff or study.

I want to like this place so bad! The forced tip option before getting and tasting your food has to stop if they’re going to get it wrong each time. 3rd time coming and gave me the wrong breakfast item. Nothing difficult or fancy just plain wrong item but I already tipped cuz they force that tip screen in your face. Never again!
