The Farmhand

We were on a kayak paddling up River and we stopped to get sandwiches here. They have a little ladder that lets you get up on the bank.
We had an Apple, Brie, caramelized onion sandwich and it was fantastic.
It's a really nice deli with a coffee shop inside and a beautiful back deck. there's also a place down below by the river where you can sit under big trees and they put some benches and chairs and enjoy your sandwich there. I would highly recommend it.

The Farmhand on River Rd is sooo cool! It sits on one of the best riverside locations, with a beautiful deck & huge lawn, perfect for enjoying a tasty snack & beverage on a warm day. Yet the interior decor is also fabulous, with an eclectic mix of both comfortable & funky furniture, lots of antique hardware & toys, and beautiful reclaimed wood everywhere! They have tons of unique choices behind the deli counter, along with classic sandwiches & sides. They also serve & showcase lots of locally grown & manufactured products for sale in one of the coolest wall shelving configurations ever! For awesome breakfasts & hot coffee, or sandwiches & cold beer for lunch, or a delicious early dinner with a glass of wine, the Farmhand is an exceptional choice for a new & unique, yet altogether relaxing & comfortable dining experience!

I had my wedding reception here back in April, and it was fabulous. The food is incredible, fresh, and delicious. The staff is kind, hardworking, and flexible. And the venue itself is stunning. What more could you want? It was a perfect way to celebrate our special day in a laidback and beautiful setting. I wouldn’t do a thing differently, and encourage other brides to consider it as a venue for their reception!!

Good coffee, good selection of sandwiches and paninis, and a good wine selection.

This place was great! Picked up a very tasty sandwich on the way to visit some vineyards. The staff was friendly and helpful and their decor inside was awesome. Definitely will stop by again on my next visit to Guerneville.

Their food is delicious and they have lots of food options and drink options. They will be getting a license soon to serve beer, too. There is all this great local pasta, canned goods, and oils for sale around the store. Love this place. Vegan friendly!

Breakfast, great sandwiches, and deli.
Prices are the most reasonable around.
Nice chill deck on the river.
Quick stop with parking before the madhouse of downtown.
Reccomend making this stop a regular!

Another little treasure here in Guerneville. Since the pandemic, they have adapted to tasty panini's that you can eat outside on their amazing deck overlooking the river and a large grassy area. One of the best places to eat lunch on a sunny afternoon.

Newly opened deli with lots of potential. Beautifully remodeled space with gorgeous river views (the photo is dawn from the deck). Good selection of sandwiches, salads, and take home meals(the shepherd's pie is delicious). Coffee and espresso service begins at 7am daily, with many grab-and-go items available, making it a very convenient stop to get your caffeine fix and a snack for your morning commute.

Not only is this place located perfectly along the Russian River, it has cozy rooms and a beautiful deck to enjoy all seasons. This is the best deli in Sonoma County. I highly recommend the BLAST!
