Food was delicious! Wait was longer than what were told, but once we were seated, they gave us a table for 4 when we were 5 in total. Hungry and a little cranky with the wrong table size, it made for a not-so pleasant experience. However, they gave us a bigger table that just freed up so it evened out.

Waitress and what seemed to be the restaurant manager were very attentive to our needs! Thank you!

Overall, good experience except for the table so -1 star.

We've been coming to the Cajun kitchen and its various locations in and around Santa Barbara for decades. The downtown location is closed perhaps permanently because of a lack of outdoor seating and Covid. The former airport location has moved across the freeway and that's where we had lunch today. I had jambalaya. My wife had Cajun sausage and eggs. The food was as good as we remember. I'm not an expert on Creole cooking, I can just say that I enjoyed this and I enjoy a broad variety of cuisines. Location was nice. It was Santa Barbara, so it was lovely outside. It was the perfect end to our jaunt up the coast. Hope you like it as much as we did.

Something about this place in Goleta. Food is always spot on with no trouble splitting orders perfect waffles and bacon that amazes me. Where do they find this food. Thick and chewy with no discernible fat. The lunch menu is filled with the usual favorites plus comfort Cajun food that can’t be found anywhere else in town! Friendly experienced wait staff.

No no no…. Failed! The mark of a good meal…. 1. Quality of food- strike, 2. value for dollars (ok I’ll pay more for artisan and/or be happier with a smaller pricetag and ‘typical’ fare) one or the other please/here-double strike 😯3. The what of where… is there ambiance or ethos or local support? /you’re out! This isn’t good, abundant, special or interesting in any way! 2. It isn’t well priced and 3. isn’t local fare it’s not organic and it’s not supporting long time locals. It’s staffed by transient students and probably underpaid wait staff 🤕- what it is is overpriced ordinary and bland with no sense of self or the community it’s in. I had a $12 egg breakfast- no meat, greasy, old, flat eggs on stale sourdough bread that probably came from the Orowheat outlet - what a fail!

I ordered the tri tip Benedict. I asked for the Hollandaise on the side, as they give you a generous portion of sauce...

The tri tip was seasoned perfectly, grilled onions and avocado with a poached egg rounded out the cowboy take on a family favorite.

For $14.95 it was a heaping portion of meat and country fried potatoes. Their salsa is really fresh and delicious with the home fries. I was pleasantly plump by the end of the breakfast and felt we waddled out. You cannot beat the fresh squeeze OJ, and only $7 for a Extra large glass! Well worth the MP for it. We will be back again.

Food was good, but the wait staff didn't seem to friendly. This was at the Goleta restaurant. I frequent the Ventura restaurant and the staff is very attentive and friendly. Just makes it more enjoyable when you have people smiling.

Nice atmosphere, good food, good coffee.
Staff are always pleasant and accommodating. The fried chicken Benedict is great! Their oatmeal with everything is very satisfying fur a lighter side. Never an issue here.

The beignets are amazing. The salmon is also fantastic. I enjoy the corn bread. I'm sure they have other great things, and I do know the people I've taken here have enjoyed their food as well, but I've so enjoyed these things I get them every time!
