The food and service were great. It would be nice if there were some sound deadening because it is so loud in there.

So excited to have this new Cajun Kitchen so close to home. This is hands down my favorite place to go for breakfast. Their scrambles (in my case the veggie) are killer, the service is friendly, and the new, modern look makes this place an instant staple.

Picture this... 11 hangry people and a full restaurant. A small parking lot so most of your party has to park across a very busy street and trek to the restaurant. The hostess giving us the bad news that it will be at least an hour wait and everyone knowing that it is that bad everywhere else because of all the visitors to the town. You would think that it is going to be disastrous. In actuality, we were seated in 20 minutes and had the best huevos rancheros, oatmeal, and jambalaya in a long time. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. The portions were huge. It was a great success!

Food was good. I ordered Raspberry pancakes thinking the raspberries would be in the pancakes not on top. Cornbread was great. Eggs were a little cold.

The location on De La Vina Street was closed and with no parking at the Chapala street location, it was fortunate to learn about a new location for The Cajun Kitchen.
During this three day visit to Santa Barbara, Benjamin D provided a hot tasty breakfast every morning. The attitude of wanting to serve was definitely here! Benjamin and a bus person kept all the coffee cups full. Inside seating was properly distanced for COVID-19 concerns; parking was excellent.
Each morning, a different menu entrée was thoroughly enjoyed!

Tasty food, always happy to serve and if you're looking for a quick place to take your order and have it served in a jaunt they are excellent in service and do just that. However, it's usually packed at both locations in SB, so most likely will have a wait time before being seated.

YUMMY! I have been missing Cajun type food, ever since Tupelo Junction closed in Santa Barbara. The new Cajun Kitchen in Goleta is wonderful. The menu is huge and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The food is "to die for!!!" My dad took me for breakfast. It was filling and really good. The coffee is provided by Dune, which is smooth and rich! Go ENJOY..

Dont go on Sunday. I understand they are busy but the waitstaff can have a better attitude, when I informed them they brought us a hot chocolate instead of chocolate milk they rolled their eyes at us, and had to ask 3 different people for an extra plate so I let my toddler have her own side, I suggest you go to the one on chapala st instead, wayyyyy better service there...
