The Mug Community Coffee Shop

We come from Monterey and visit family… me and my husband ALWAYS make it a MUST to stop at the mug! Just a great little reminder of back home and AMAZING coffee!!!! We’re just in shock how the shop changed and expanded. That is just awesome!!!! Anytime we head back to Monterey we ALWAYS recommend the mug to people when visiting in Fresno. Just a great local coffee shop!

First time here. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a "Hello". It's already off to a good start.

I reviewed the Yelp comments before coming in. So I read that the banana mocha blended was good. I used to order a similar drink from a place that shut down and reopened under new owners who no longer make my "monkey mocha", so I stopped going there. So glad Yellow Mug Coffee does and it tastes great. The place inside is chill. About four people inside studying or what not. Two workers. They also had samples and the sample was delicious too. It was a cold coffee called "Nutty Tropics". You won't be disappointed. Friendly staff. I'll definitely be back. Was given a punch card too. After you buy 10 you get one free. Yay!

NEW OWNERS!! Awesome coffees, smoothes, homemade desserts, and more! Fabulous family owned place. Friendly service. Great opening!!! Josh was a good choice for part of the opening act. A voice that makes you want to dance, cry, smile, and sing along.

As far as coffee shops go, The Mug is a quiet, nice, and clean shop. The staff members are quick to take your order, and proficient in what they do. Outside tables are available, if a person or small group prefer. The Mug is a nice and quiet neighborhood coffee shop.

The owners and their associates are nothing less than friendly and helpful. Their drinks are tasty and food is freshly made per your order. One my favorite breakfast sandwiches is the Breakfast Brioche.

Great coffee, oat milk, excellent service!!! Today I built my croissant with tomato aioli, turkey, gouda, avocado, spina, tomatoes, onion, it was deli!!!

This place is adorable, their food is really good and their drinks are great. Seating is nice and is the kind of place you could sit at and study or read. Only gave four stars because their service is a little slow, but honestly worth it.

Awesome place that has the best service! Coffee is top notch and this is really a place that lives up to being a community coffee shop.

Even later update: new expansion into shop to the east is completed. Tons of room, there is now a small stage in the corner that will soon host musicians and comedians on Thursday and Saturday evenings. Check the website for details.

Update: remodel completed, more room for chairs and tables, good thing, this place is full much of the time. Coffee is the best in town and Crystal's homemade treats are to die for! The staff is not only competent, but very friendly and go out of their way to serve their customers well. I just love this place!

Celebrating grand re-opening tonight. Mike and Crystal have done fantastic work with this place. Great coffee, great friends, and Jesus!
