Having worked in customer service management for 13 years, I can tell you that business hours are business hours. You open when you open. And you close when you close. All the minutes in between those times are supposed to be spent servicing your customers. From the moment we walked into this cafe on a Sunday (25 minutes till closing time) we were hurried out the door like we were a pest. We were actually greeted with the line “Hello! We are closing!” At least they said hello. So we assured them “Don’t worry. We don’t want anything big from your kitchen. Maybe just a coffee, pastry and some fruit for our toddler.” They obliged by giving us what we asked for and we took a seat on the patio. The server came out about 15 minutes to close and started stacking chairs. Before she had finished she looked up and told us she “needed to collect all the pillows” on the patio benches. In order to not make it anymore awkward, I started to hand her ours because we could just sit on the wooden bench and let our 2 year old finish her tomatoes. The server then became agitated with me and said “I’ll need to lock up the tables too. We are closing!” Still 10 minutes on the clock. So we took the cue and started to wrap things up and leave. By the time the kiddo was in her car seat and my wife was in the car it was a couple minutes to closing time and the area where we had sat was still as we left it. For all the hurrying the server put us through she didn’t even need that time for what she told us it was for. Pretty much took the entire exchange as a passive aggressive BUZZ OFF! Wish I hadn’t tipped her at the register on our check since she really did nothing but the bare minimum for us. This was our first time visiting this cafe and will certainly be the last. Like I said, closed is closed. The business hours on your sign are for conducting business with your customers. Cleanup and get yourself ready to go home after the clock strikes closing time. I gave the cafe 2 stars because the servers chose not to turn us away entirely.

I love this place. The ambience is great and the food is delicious. Pricey for my budget so I only visit on special occasions.

They have amazing food, however their service is horrible. Their not welcoming and they are sooooo slow. Last time my two kids and I eat there we waited over an hour to get our food and they were not busy at all. We almost just left.

Our service was terrible. The server was just grunting and making faces about my fiance's order. After that they bring us the wrong sandwich and never took our drink orders. I don't recommend this place at all they are not friendly. they feel entitled to a good tip with no service we had to go back 2 more times to get our sandwiche correct

Soooooo expensive! I went in here solo just to grab a quick breakfast. I ordered a single pancake and it was $7.99! I was thinking at this price it must be huge, but no, it was a regular, small, 5-inch pancake. A cup of coffee was $3.50. So after one pancake, a cup of coffee, and a tip my total bill was over $14. The pancake was good but it wasn't that good.

Had a delicious Breakfast with a childhood friend. First-time for me and would definitely recommend this spot!

Overpriced, service is not great, and the flies will eat your breakfast before you get to. Food lacks seasoning and did I mention it's overpriced? Oh but you can buy a jar of fancy handmade jelly lol.

The service was good, and food was great. The quality of the food is much better than most others, I presume that is why they priced higher for the meals. I would return recommend as a pass through town again.

Good service, Quality of the food has slipped recently, Over priced for portion size and quality, 3.50 for a cup of coffee. It'll cost 40 bucks for 2 people to have breakfast and it's just not worth it.
