Mimi's Cafe

We eat here about 1 a month after church. Food food and service is pretty good.

Mimi's definitely redeemed themselves. This is my Mom's favorite place to go and she chose it to celebrate her birthday. Let me tell you, the food was fabulous the service was top notch and I would highly recommend it to anyone, any age.

The best food and service. Came here to watch the cowboys playoff game and it was a blast!

First time at Fresno location. Usually go to Modesto Mimi's. Went for late breakfast/lunch. Food very good as usual. Of course took home muffins which look even more delicious!

I had the Lunch Trio. The Tomato Bisque Soup was outstanding! The Caesar Salad was excellent! And the Grilled Chicken on Ciabatta bread was fresh and flavorful. The waiter was very good and friendly but he was overworked. He apologized for the wait but he was attentive to our needs. (One waiter for the entire room probably due to being short staffed.

My only issue is that Hostess made us wait in the lobby for 10-15 minutes while we sat in a 3/4 empty restaurant. Then she sat us at an empty table right in front of us that had been empty the whole time. Unreal! I was not pleased. I would rather wait at the table. Overall very good food and good service.

We went there for Thanksgiving dinner. The meal was a traditional Thanksgiving feast. More than enough to eat for the average person. Choice of salad or 3 different soups, turkey(white or dark meat), stuffing, mashed potatoes & gravy, greenbean casserole, yams, & cranberry sauce. Choice of pumpkin or pecan pie. An impressive drink menu. Very good service. We loved it!

Food was okay. Service wasn't the best that day. Never tell the waitress give you a more time to chose your food choice. 10-15 minutes later I almost called the restaurant to let them know I was ready to order. My waitress could have been new. I asked or the Skewered Shrimp she showed me large size with her fingers. She got the size wrong they were small. Fish was good. Coleslaw not very tasty. I thought I tasted a hint of Garlic in it. Say what? Place was busy. Food was good.
When I first got there one section there was no server, and people were in there eating. Second choice seat someone had some much perfume or cologne on I asked to sit elsewhere. The third seat I had to wait until able was cleaned. Okay. They did have Iced Coffee. I need to have a later lunch.
It's also great place for having family reunion or group luncheons. $$. I would recommend this restaurant.

Ruined Mother's Day, We ordered the Mother's Day special 3 course meal, the salads came before the appetizer and when we asked for the appetizer we received 3 more salads (weird) Meanwhile my corn chowder is nowhere in sight. The main course arrives as I get my chowder, still no spinach artichoke dip (appetizer). The food was nearly uneatable, worst by far! The spinach artichoke dip arrives with un-toasted very soft sliced Baguette bread which is impossible to dip in spinach artichoke dip! We wait about 40 minutes when I have to finally ask for dessert. We ordered 3 Lava Cakes and 1 Lemon Cake. All came frozen with the lava cakes literally as hard as ice cubes. Not one time was are beverages refilled.

I can't say enough of how much I absolutely love this place! The service is always great and the food is amazing. If you get a chance you must try their mimosas.
