2nd time eating there to give it a fair shot. Regular burgers and elk burger were ok but not the best ive ever had, plus pricey. Also ordered fish and chips and both times they had the hard gray fishy part on at least one of the peices and the batter was soggy. Sides include fries, rings or salad, which is nice but no substitutes allowed except for the "type" of fries (which can be helpful but) even though prices of other items were equivilent. Website makes a promise of brownies with every meal ordered and both times not even one came with it. Also mentioned it the second time and were told the manager would call.

Favorite place to get a burger in town. Nice staff. Nice location. Fair prices. If you are meeting someone there you have to arrive together or they wont seat you, but that makes sense on busy days and trying to maximize efficiency.

This place was recommended by a friend. The service was great and the burger I had was delicious. I was a little let down by the garlic fries, but it didn't ruin my experience. I can definitely see myself going back.

The establishment has a decent and cozy atmosphere. We understood that this place is a newer restaurant and very modern for this small city. I try to not to judge a place too much by just the food, but also thei small detials. To me the practice of outstanding hygiene and their well-kept restrooms are as equally important. You can definitely perceive a very slight greasy scent when you first walk in. The employees were very helpful and polite. The service was efficient and in a timely manner.
Being a strict pescatarian I was very disappointed at the fish and chips. The fish was soggy and the taste was very blend. The tartar sauce was awful and it tasted too much of horseradish. The coleslaw wasn’t cold either and was completely flavorless. The chips were also extremely salty :(
Too bad they don’t care too much to carry local fish either. I’d love to come back on our next trip and hopefully the fish & chips will be better and with more flavor. I hope they’ll work a harder on improving or developing tastier recipes.
On a more positive note, my spouse loved his specialty sandwich with gravy, fries egg and fried chicken. Big boys would love this bad boy!! Check it out it is a cute modern spot with excellent beer selection. Happy dining everyone. Cheers! ✌️

If there are more than 4 people in your party, don't go. And especially don't go on a Tuesday. I would have appreciated if they told us "no" instead of lying about the wait time. It's fine to say we can't accommodate a party of 7. Half-priced burgers aren't worth the 70-minute wait for a table, room temperature beer, and soggy, fried appetizers. Half-priced seemed like the correct amount anyway; I wouldn't have paid $14 for the mediocre burgers with one piece of bacon and oddly soggy veggie patty we received.
We were also shoved out of the way and told that we could not order a beer from the bar because we were in the way. Yikes. I'd recommend taking your hard-earned dollars elsewhere, like Surfside or The Burger Joint in Arcata. I'd rather not spend money to feel so unwelcome. Sorry to have bothered you, but don't worry we won't be back.

We love this place! We aren't as regular anymore but the waitstaff is always nice. Tip well on Tuesdays, y'all getting half off the basket with drink purchase while these people are working extra hard. Mistakes happen, but they fix it as best they can. I suggest the oatmeal stout and bacon bleu

Very upsetting this place was actually one of the very few restaurants that I enjoyed in Humboldt but unfortunately they do not care about the customers! I ordered a burger for take out and when I got home there was literally 5 pieces of hair strategically placed around the top of the burger. To make it worse they were different colors! When I brought it back to the restaurant it was like pulling teeth trying to speak with the owner and when I finally got a hold of her she actually blamed me for the hair! She didn’t care to do anything about it at all instead she turned the blame to my family. Disrespectful, disgusting, and rude these are the traits of the 6th street restaurant! Never again will I or anyone in my family eat at this establishment.

Decent food but don't go in a party on a Tuesday unless everyone comes together as they won't seat you until all people have arrived. After a long wait our party of five was seated at a table with bar stools with no place for purses or coats. To get the special you have to order a beverage, I don't drink soda so I had to pay full price or soda price for water. One of our party ordered a beer was told there was a temporary problem and no beer, less than five minutes later two beers were served to the table behind us. Overall negative first impression.

My first experience at 6th and E was outstanding. But my most recent trips have been a bit of a let down. Burger was prepared wrong and under cooked both times. Yes, we had it fixed but once you bite into a raw burger your appetite is basically gone

I’m not one to send negative reviews in fear of exactly what happened. We ordered take out - for the first time ever - from 6th street eatery only to find strategically placed black hairs on our burger. Needless to say, none of our 3 orders were eaten. Very shocking, to say the least. Especially, since HAIR is not on the menu! Still hungry in Humboldt! Will find another, cleaner restaurant. 😒
