Hope Cafe El Centro

Every time I go, I get the Java chip frappes. They are usually so watery and if it’s not then it’s just chunks of ice. The food is alright but the prices? Wayyy to high for what it’s worth. And when I go, it’s almost every time there’s only one waitress serving a lot of full tables! Some girls I see working look so tired and stressed but a lot of them are really nice and friendly. Overall customer service is good but the food…No. Me and my friend will definitely not be going back or recommending this establishment to any others. Don’t go to this place unless you like mediocre food and drinks that charge for Starbucks-like quality.

My Husband, my little girl and I were coming from Mexicali and we wanted Coffee and a Good Crepe. So we looked in line and saw this place...we came and it was delicious! I got a Cafe de olla, 2 sweet crepes, a frappe and a avocado toast and everything was fresh and delicious! Our server was super nice and helpful. Thank you for the service and we will definitely be back!

The place is so beautiful can take a lot of Instagram pictures and the food is so good and big portions but be ready to spend 👍😁

Definitely the best cafe in the valley! The ambience and customer service was so inviting and comfortable :) Have in mind there is a bit of a wait to get served since they are actually quite busy with orders coming from the phone or walk-in To-Go’s, but don’t worry the food is by far worth the wait.

My pregnant partner and I ordered hope savories and we both came down with bad digestive problems. She was admitted today at the hospital and diagnosed with viral gastroenteritis!!!! Never coming here again!!!

Very cute place, I’m glad they kept the same scenery as the last coffee house that was there. Service was friendly. Food was delicious, coffee was yummy! The only issue id say is when picking up from an online order they just kind of stand there and don’t say if your order is ready or not. A little pricey but all in all its great.

This is the classic "aesthetics over quality" place. Cute little place, but horrible customer service and mediocre food. My salad took so long that I thought the staff was collecting the vegetables in the fields. Overall, my order took an hour to get and one second to know that the wait was not worth it.
The only highlight of my experience was the one staff that kept apologizing for the service. I didn't get your name in the chaos, but thank you, long black hair lady, for being kind to my coworkers and me. To the other coworker that slammed the door on us and was apparently one hair away from cussing at us for trying to pay/get our food after an hour of waiting, try to be kinder. We understand that it's rush hours and you might be under staff, but there was no need to act so ill-manner.
Overall, okayish overprice food, staff not prepared to work during rush lunch hour, and unable to accommodate online/phone orders.

I was looking forward to trying the food/drinks since I knew the calexico one had good reviews, so I gave this location a chance. The drinks were good. The food however was questionable. They substituted certain ingredients without informing us and also were missing a lot of ingredients in general. The crepe I had was pretty terrible because the topping was replaced with something else without my knowledge and the flavors did not mix. The customer service was also not that great but I think they recently opened, so I hope it will improve. I think they should cut down on the food items and keep a very small, solid list of their most popular items that they know for a fact they can have ingredients for and that will actually taste good. This place has the right look and aesthetic that people enjoy and deem “insta-worthy”, but I just don’t think it’s worth it if the food isn’t good.

Customer service was decent, but they're insanely understaffed...
Ordered a java chip frappe and it was watery, their breakfast items took ages aswell. Decent area with alright food, just terrible service.. :(
