Great coffee, service was a little slow and when it gets busy (and it will) you have to be patient. But the coffee is gooood. They have beans to buy and take home and the range of food is good too.

I'll be honest, when I saw the name on the map, I thought it might be an expat pub and got a little excited. However, as a coffee shop it didn't disappoint and I enjoyed my visit. I would go again.

One of the best coffee shops in Costa Mesa. The owners here are so sweet. All staff will make you feel so welcomed. If I could, I would go here everyday.

Went there second time today. I was looking for a good coffee place near my work and discovered this amazing place. I love the vibe, the customer service and their edibles are so worth it!
I have had their almond croissant (twice) and veggie burrito. The croissant was nice and flaky, the veggie burrito was just perfect. And the portions are good.
So glad to find a place like this!

In this specific political moment, I'll admit an apprehension to purchasing church coffee. Even with some light research, I'm not too sure what exactly it is that they donate their proceeds to, other than what seems like mission work in coffee growing countries.

Despite this, L&L serves some pretty dang good coffee with unique flavor profiles. The people behind the counter clearly know what they're doing; I've been visiting fairly regularly for the better part of a month and haven't had a bad drink yet. This could also speak to the quality of the roast (I'm dreading running out of their Columbian light roast on my home setup; it brews incredibly well, even when I screw it up). I've heard something about the roaster here involved with Portola's Theorem-- an intrepid coffee cocktail bar at the beginning of what would become the current coffee culture in OC. That is all to say that, with cautious optimism, I am excited to explore L&L's offerings.

5/24 update: 3 stars for the drinks. Foods must est same day or it goes bad.. So this is for the matcha latte that got me sick after taking few sips ounce.. maybe the person am whisked too much air also so I sipped air and burped like crazy. Also looked & tasted like subpar quality matcha. $7 Wasted trashed. Idk if it's because I got there 30 min before closing time so quality isn't the best (they close early, but still it's not a hard drink to make if you just add warm water and add) or it's just this drink.. I got London fog last time and it was ok.. nothing special to go out of way for but if in rhd area nice to check out.. nice staff, environment ok for some wifi. It's in a quiet corner in an industrial area so not the nicest looking place but inside had nice plants for sale and basic foods snacks.

Actually a gem find.. very quality foods, deserts, and drinks.. they listen to you - no sugar means no.. not like other cafes that leave a hint of sweetness. There's larger room to study and WiFi.

Love this place. Just wanted to say they're open on MLK day, 2023. Until 6 PM.

Amazing gluten free banana bread and blueberry muffin! We had a huge order and it came out super fast and the staff were very friendly.

Make sure to check in via Yelp to get 20% off your order :) I ordered their Salted Butter Toffee, iced, one of their specialty drinks. Super rich in flavor, I enjoyed it, but I think I'll size down next time since the large might have been too much for me. There is outdoors seating!

I was so happy to find this shop. It appears connected with Watermark Church and the people coming in and out seem very warm and welcoming. Lovely culture showing through here. Staff helped me choose good vegan alternative spin on their drinks and I picked up some store merchandise and partnered merch as well. The original Latte and oat milk London Fog was excellent.
