Cindy is a sweetheart so a bakery is just right. Amazing selection for a small town shop(not a bunch of extra space downtown Colfax) and it's got a FAMILY feel.

Delicious array of fresh baked goods for breakfast and lunch, paired with wonderful coffee choices. Want to meet friends? The bakery has an inviting atmosphere for lingering over a cup of coffee and a brioche or scone. A must stop place on Main Street in the historic town of Colfax.

Fresh salads and fruit cups. Great tasting ham & Swiss if you prefer. Good hwy stop food stop.

Just stopped in and got a bagel bomb 10/10 recommend. The blonde lady welcomed me and was super nice. I got a latte which was good also! Very clean and sanitary. Will definitely be back! 🙂

Cindy at Grandma C's Kitchen makes a really great killer sticky bun in the traditional Philadelphia style. For those of you who don't know what a Sticky Bun is - it is a cinnamon bun about 4' x 4" x 2" covered with pecans. You have got to try this. I'd show a photo of this, but it was too good!!!!

I live in Colfax and I finally made it to this cafe and I’m happy I did! I felt comfortable with the cleanliness and precautions taken for COVID-19. The latte and sausage cheddar bomb were delicious (:

Edit: Yes, I'll elaborate. My apologies for just seeing your response. I still recall what happened though, as it was the last time I came in.

My wife and I came in to the shop and we had been here a few times before, and we loved the food.

We ordered a few things, and the girl behind the counter wasn't wearing any mask even though your Yelp page states you do, and she started coughing on the food behind the glass (there was no glass covering the food on the employees end (behind the counter) and it was gross, so we said something about this and her response was rude and slightly political and was about how you shouldn't have to wear masks (this was in the peak of COVID-19). When I went home empty handed (we didn't want anything after seeing her cough on the food), I saw on Yelp this was listed as a COVID-19 safe/sanitary place, and that was when I decided to leave the review.

You are a baking angel. I don’t even know how to tell people how amazing your coconut cookie is. The lemon one? Shut up, how is possible for someone could make this magical thing? I also bought the dark chocolate brownie and I swear a tear of happiness came out of my face.

The bagel bombs are the BOMB! Super legit spot for pastries and coffee when im passing through town.
