Wow, GREAT place for breakfast. I like to stop here after an early morning real estate shoot in the mountains. Super friendly staff, FAST service and generous tasty portions.

This little diner is our absolute favorite place to eat on the way to Tahoe to hit the slopes. The food is crazy amazing. The decor is cozy and the staff is wonderful. We have eaten here at least 80 times, each with no concerns, complaints or issues. A truly amazing place. We have visited mainly for breakfast with the occasional lunch trip. They also apparently have a sports bar next to the dining room. To conclude, we will continue to eat here every single time we make the trip to Colfax because they offer amazing service, delicious food, all at a great price.

We had the best brunch ever. I had grilled cheese Benedict that was incredibly flavorful. Husband had roast beef special with onion rings and bbq sauce and bacon on a roll. We are local and will be back soon!! Best in Colfax.

Friendly staff, we had the veggie burger and upgraded to Sweet potato fries. Generous portions but not ridiculous, tasted great, however, you may want to season to taste.
The only hiccup was when our waitress (after giving us the menu) went outside to water the plants and forgot about us, but one of the other waitresses spotted this and took our order so no big deal. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. We will come again!

The food is really good, and the portions are huge. We were there right at the end of the lunch hour, and it still took us almost a half an hour after we ordered to get our meal. So if you're just looking for a good meal, and you have a little bit of time to kill, this would be a great place. Pricing isn't bad, variety is superb, and the setting is pretty cool.

Super cute little dive on the side of the freeway. They serve large portions. I asked what the soup of the day was and our waitress brought out a sample for us to try. That has NEVER happened to me at another restaurant so I appreciated that, especially considering that it was a delicious gumbo. I ended up ordering a bowl of it. Our waitress was very attentive and was courteous when it came time for them to close.

Haven't been here in 10 years and was pleasantly surprised with the upgrades from cheap diner to well put together, clean, country chic themed restaurant.
The burgers we had were great! They had good flavor and there is so much to choose from that you're sure to find something that suits your mood, they even have gluten free substitutes and vegan options!
The patio out back was really nice and the overall environment and staff were great! Hurray!

On our way back home from playing in the snow we stopped at this quaint and cozy little gem. We were pleasantly surprised with the menu selection and the infusion of flavors of our dishes!

The staff was extremely friendly. This was the first time in a long time that we were able to enjoy a complete meal without our toddler having a melt down 😊
