Nice local place. Don't be fooled by the name they offer more then just cakes. They have some of the most delicious cupcakes I have experienced. They also have dang good breakfast food. I highly recommend the breakfast burrito. The coffee/espresso was also very good. The staff is nice and offering their personal opinions on what to get. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Hands down the best cupcakes in chico! This establishment offers an exquisite array of flavor combinations, fresh ingredients, and are beautifully decorated to boot. Delicious treats! Sweet and not sweet available. They have great breakfast options, and many delicious coffees and teas (hot or cold). I also love that they offer many different options daily for people who are diabetic or gluten intolerant.

Honestly I was pretty blown away the place is a dream. Brooke was just the most helpful, polite, super energetic. Huge Plus that made me like her more she was super playful with my baby (8monthsold) now the cheesecake in a cup was over the top a well as the drinks she made for us. Over all best place to stop & get your coffee & calm your sweet tooth!!!!!!

Lovely Layers catered my wedding and did a wonderful job. We had a small cake and 160 cupcakes. Each was delicious. I trusted them with decorating the cake table rustic for our ranch setting and I was amazed with how it turned out.

Very yummy cakes. They have vegan options too which I love (also for people who cannot have dairy!). They made my sister's baby shower cake and it was SO cute and well done. They even crafted a little confectionary moon to go on top of it (the theme was stars and moon).

Mediocre latte, but the baked goods are amazing. Vegan isn't my jam but I for information sake, I recently heard they offer vegan baked goods as well. Interior was cute, but looked like seating wasn't really existent... I think it's mostly a take-n-go kinda place. They have chalk boards that chart sales of different items through the years which I thought was really cool to see... The growth from year to year is interesting to me. Get your food here and your latte down the street.
