Amazing find in Chester! This place is the real deal for pastries, seriously if you are in the area stop in for a treat! My husband and I had the gouda ham pastry which was out of this world, and a custard dessert with berries-amazing! Check this place out!!!!

Great coffee shope and bakery. The baked goods are on the expensive end, but super worth it. Coffee is flavorful and carefully made. The owners are wonderful and offer excellent service.

Rachel and Mark and their staff reall provide a warm and hospitable experience for their locals and the summer tourists alike. I spent the year up north in Chester and Westwood , and lived right behind the shop. And despite the initial overreaction by some of the local , i was sold on Day 1 with the most fabulous French Onion Soup and Espresso over ice. Both baristas seemed very knowledgeable and personable. I do wanna give an extra mention to the Matron of the House, Rachel, for her fabulous baked goods. All the best ,and I hope to be returning to Lake Almanor for the grand reopening of dine in for the summer. Hope to be once again.at the bar sipping on coffee or tea and a pastry Cheers. Best coffee (and apfelstrudel) in all of Chester. Highly recommend for folks on their way to or from the lake.

Pastries were tasty, and the coffee was good. Staff was very friendly. This is one of the two bright spots in town for eating that Chester needs as the food by and large sucks here.

Grabbed a latte and a couple of cookies right before closing on a Sunday afternoon.... Both were great, and the proprietor was enjoyable to chat with! Highly recommended!

Top notch coffee and treats. AMAZING customer service. My favorite is an iced spiced chai with a chocolate chip cookie. Definitely a new favorite

Hands down the best quick breakfast I have EVER had. If I lived in Chester I would eat here everyday! Try a breakfast calzone and a pastry!
