Great neighborhood coffee shop fare!

The bus-boy nearly ran us over on our way in They don't allow cell-phone use in the restaurant. Our table and condiment top(s) were dirty before we used them. The waitress delivered our check at the same time as our meal. I felt rushed and very uncomfortable dining there, never again will we eat there. In addition, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Michael’s Cafe will stay on my list of top café’s in the Coachella Valley. This one truly stands out for its outstanding customer service and friendliness, not to mention the Marylin Monroe theme going on. There’s a old-fashioned yet tasteful feel. I recommend the pancakes and scrambled eggs; astounding taste and prices!

Loved the memorabilia of Marilyn and food was good. WAitress was sweet, but busboy was Curt and short. What mostly turned us off was how completely unfriendly the cashier was. ( older, short sandy hair) would not respond to our cordiality nor thank us or even acknowledge us. Go to pinnochios

This is just a so-so place for breakfast. The Marilyn decor is definitely better than the food. I suggest they spend less on the decor and more on upgrading the quality of the food. At least the parking was close by and ample.

I always get the garden burger I think it’s called, only thing I’ve ever ordered and I crave it! The cafe has great prices, waitresses that remember you, and it’s a great little place. Overall, recommend this cafe.
PS I am a vegetarian so I know a good veggie burger when I get one!

Decent food, competently prepared, with consistently reasonable service and prices. Seeing as it is a diner, I am often confused as to why you can't get a milkshake. However, that's not a big problem considering the overall quality of this place. It's also very interesting if you happen to like Marilyn Monroe, because the entire place is filled with pictures and memorabilia regarding her.

Yes stop here for lunch or breakfast. Not only is the food and coffee great but the service and atmosphere make for a great dinning experience. I travel 40 min just to enjoy this place.

Great breakfast or lunch at very reasonable prices. My wife and I have been going there for several years. Try the #6 breakfast and you won't want any thing until evening. My only problem is with their obsession with folks not using a cell phone. I see no difference between talking across over the table or carrying on a normal conversation on a phone. Without this I would rate a 5.
