La Costa Coffee Roasting

Best roaster in the area! I moved away and, as many of other former customers, keep buying from them when I'm back in town. Owner often serves customers and shares his huge knowledge on coffee. They roast popular blends daily, less popular ones are roasted 3-4 time per week. This approach guaranteed fresh beans on every your visit. Please try their coffee when you are around (I do not work for or get commission from them :)

Been coming here since I was a child. Loved it when I was young and love it even more now that I drink coffee. Once you have La Costa coffee it's hard to go back to the other stuff. Whole bean breakfast blend is my go-to.

Been going here with my family for as long as I can remember. I absolutely love it! They have an amazing selection of baked goods and delicious drinks. My only complaint would be that they occasionally forget about orders, but that rarely happens. 5 stars to this local treasure:)

I expected so much of this place because of the great photos and reviews! But although the staff was nice, the shop itself was very messy. The counters were dirty, floors strewn with crumbs and mislaid papers, and the inside of the display case was full of condensation. The coffee machines also did not look as if they had been cleaned ( full of fingerprints). Not sure if I just came in on a bad day...it was a Saturday afternoon around 3 pm. My blended coffee had huge chunks of ice and hardly any coffee flavor coming through, it felt watered down. Disappointing... But I'm willing to try again another day. I liked the paneled atmosphere and everyone sitting comfortably reading and working.

Great non-chain coffee spot and the owner roasts coffee himself delivering the smells of roasting coffee across the hills of South Carlsbad. The inside and outside are both nice with the outside patio being very nicely spread out with piped in music. There's nice food and shopping nearby and the just renovated Dove Library is right across the street. Great La Costa location.

Excellent tea, interesting vibe, good service, nice people, good wifi, excellent gluten free muffins. it's in La Costa, but very reasonable prices nonetheless. Hands down, my favorite coffee place.

Great coffee, friendly staff, and delicious homestyle baked goods everyday.
Parking can get messy sometimes depending on the time of day you stop by, but overall, my favorite place to get a white chocolate mocha.

It was my first time visiting La Costa Coffee Roasting, and I wasn't disappointed. I have been to MANY coffee shops in San Diego County, but this spot stands out because they make an incredible product and the staff was extremely friendly. Thanks for the positive experience LCCR!
