CoRo Coffee Roastery

This may be, hands down, the *best * coffee shop in west Berkeley. Comfy seats, great ambience, fresh air, beautiful mugs. Unlike other cafés they don’t blast loud music so you can actually get work done. Friendly staff, too. Will be back!

Incredible coffee
Service is fast and accommodating.

It is a little snug in there and some students like to post up there for a good while.

Despite being a coffee shop, I have had their tea a few times and it was perfect. They source it from Blue Willow down the way. Their coffee is also so good, espresso and even their batch brew is impeccable.

Can't recommend it enough.

I've had both a regular drip coffee and the rosemary latte from CoRo. The coffee was great, I'm planning on trying other offerings. The rosemary latte was a revelation--I don't enjoy sweet coffee drinks, and this one was sweet, herbaceous, botanical, and a real treat. Worth a return trip on its own.

This is the roasting side of the business, and although attached to the cafe, it's not actually the cafe. A good deal of these reviews are left for the cafe, which has its own Google review rating profile. As a place to roast and learn it's awesome!

the coffee they roast here is spectacular and the staff is friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend stopping here for some beans or a quiet spot to have a coffee.

Absolute gem of a coffee place 💜 really friendly baristas, you can either wirk inside behind your laptop or take a seat outside. Their pour over was delish, I also bought some beans as a gift and they were delighted! Since they roast their own coffee you also have the scent of fresh coffee in the air ☕️... can't wait to go back.

Stumbled upon this place on the way to another destination and so glad I found this gem!!

They roast their own coffee in house. I had their oat latte and savored every sip. The people working there were incredibly friendly and helpful too. It’s now my new favorite coffee spot in Berkeley

The staff are horribly rude. Too cool for kindness or even small amounts of humanity. I’ve come here 3 times and had the same experience. I walk an extra 5 blocks to go anywhere else. It’s too bad because the coffee and the space are quite nice.
