Great bar with a unique feel! They have an amazing tea and non alcoholic selection as well and great food. I recommend the Mac and cheese! There is also a movie theater that plays unique films. This bar is a great place to just hang out.

Delicious cocktails, great beers, cider, and kombucha on tap. The food selections (including gluten-free options) are always YUM but they don't have a full kitchen so they do run out of stuff. Keep an eye on their theater calendar because they get some really amazing bands that you may never have heard of but will DEFINITELY be glad you went to see! Also showing the latest indie and foreign films. Their karaoke (Sundays, usually) is off the hook (won Best in the county!) and the bar itself is pretty chill so you could totally take your parents or have a nice date here.

Went there for an outdoor drink and snack. Sat outside in the table for about 15 minutes until the girl in shift publicly and loudly asked me to 'order something otherwise I couldn't sit in the table' and her tone was a little too aggressive.
Obviously it wasn't clear to me that I had to order first then get served, as I proceed to explain to this woman. Then she was nice afterwards but I left feeling a little bummed.
Food was just okay. It was nice they enforced social distancing and masks.

Best place to hang out in Arcata for a chill and fun night that doesn't get too rowdy. It's a blessed break from the insanity of Bar Row. Awesome bartenders (Alicia, Gina, Leo, Ian), great cocktails, good food, and a super friendly doorman (Toby) who works to keep everyone safe.
Come for the supportive Sunday night karaoke crowd, or salsa on Wednesdays, or the quirky indie films in the early weekday evenings, or the shows that happen quite frequently on Fridays and Saturdays.
The clientele is a fun mix of eclectic regulars who are chatting, drawing, writing, and reading at the bar, small friend groups, and seasonal trimmigrants. People are generally friendly if you want to meet folks, but there are also booth-like tables if you'd prefer a more private experience for your group.

The staff seams a bit off. Yes they where friendly but it felt super fake. Maybe because they where busy or new but that doesn’t give them the right to treat me like if they are the only bar in town. If I want to feel ignore, I’ll go to sidelines. Gina is cool(she wasn’t in tonight) , but tonight I just didn’t feel comfortable purchasing drinks. My advice, if you feel that they are not treating you right, you should let them then know, I did ( and they seam to not care about an opinion of a customer) but at least you said something. I honestly just go for the shows, sadly enough the staff just wasn’t good enough to handle a busy night.

Funky vibes and good times - best karaoke in town! Epic nights with close friends. Excellent bar munchies and fine spirits - nice bar tenders and nicer juke box. I’ll see you there chillen and playing trivial pursuit with an excellent Negroni and good friends

Great spot and karaoke is awesome but they could turn it up a notch on the food if they wanted and I wouldn't mind.... Also, It's kinda crowded sometimes. All in all, it's a cool place to grab a drink and enjoy the hipster-goat fusion this place is vibing.

if you are going to charge a $10 cover open another bar or hire more bartenders. Paying to get in, then waiting for ever for a drink sucks There are other bars in town.

The bartender was cold and unfriendly to me but happy and chummy to her off work friends. That action didn't make me feel welcome. So I left my drink and went elsewhere. But other than that nice decor. I'd give it another shot if I was clicky enough.

Sweet little corner spot for a meetup, casual chat, heavy drinking, or even some small tapas. Like tater-tot small or a pot pie of some kind. This place is definitely worth checking out. I liked the atmosphere best out of all Arcata bars; they have nice lounging couches and even some socializing board games. Great spot!
