Great place for breakfast! Not to mention the drinks. My wife liked the Bellini. The service was excellent and the owner Roy was very nice and hospitable.

We went on a Saturday around 10 and there was waiting so we Sat at the bar. The bartender was nice, said the OJ and Grapefruit where fresh squeezed but they did not taste like it. The food took long. My vegetarian omelet was good, the even have a Beyond sausage. My friends eggs benedic with a green sauce were ok with a large portion of hash browns. By 11am there were empty seats. Would go back.

SHOUT OUT TO SERVER MIKE O!!!! He noticed we were sitting a while without service and took the initiative to find our server. He was given permission to take over our table thank goodness because he was AWESOME!!!! Very attentive, kept us up to date on when our food was coming, super friendly, always checking if we needed anything. Thanks for looking out for us MIKE O !!!! Huge food portions, they don't skimp. Absolutely delicious. Best breakfast place in town! This is our new breakfast place and looking forward to trying lunches!

Super BUSY place! If you want to have breakfast on the weekend, I would definitely recommend making some reservations!
Our server was very friendly and was attentive to our table! We ordered a classic and californium Benedict’s (mix and match Benedict plate) and both tasted good, but I wish the food had been hotter.
Pancakes were fluffy and probably my favorite thing we ate. I would order these again!! 🥞
Mimosa was delicious. The strawberry was a nice touch 😌
CONS: I wish our Benedict’s had been hotter. They were just warm.
Peep 👀 photos for food and interior dining experience!

I came to this place November 2021, and after a greasy Monte Cristo sandwich I swore I would never come back to The Broken Yolk Cafe.

Fast forward to 2023 and a dear friend had mentioned coming to breakfast here and mentioned it was delicious. I was apprehensive because of the previous experience but I’ve been to therapy and have a clear understanding of growth, evolving and becoming a better version of yourself. I decided to give the Broken Yolk Cafe a second chance, perhaps the cook had been replaced and there was now someone with more taste in charge of the kitchen. Maybe the time I went in 2021 the cooks were having a bad day. We never know right?

Well I was accompanied by my friend and my lover. My boo ordered the Chilaquiles Bowl because that’s their thing, and I went with the stuffed French toast, my friend ordered the pancakes.

Let me start, this place gets 2 mf stars.

The chilaquiles bowl is offensive, looks like they straight dumped nacho chips into a bowl and poured that chunky Tostitos salsa they sell at Walmart on top, finishing with some carne asada. Some of the chips didn’t even get salsa, I felt like I ordered a nacho bowl rather than chilaquiles.

The loaded French toast, broken yolk, you’re trying way too hard. It’s diabetes on a plate, the first few bites were ok, but then I started to get disgusted by how glutinous the dish is. Mascarpone cheese, caramel, whipped cream, and powdered sugar have no business together.

The pancakes…… well they were pancakes what can I say? The hash browns? Potatoes.

EH if you want to come brunch with your girls come on in, but you won’t find real breakfast in this place.

Great service and great food. If you're there between 7:00 and 10:00, ask for the early bird specials. Would definitely recommend this place again.

Our visit for a party of 8 was great, worth the wait. We had breakfast outside, it was a little cold but the heaters warmed us up. Food was delicious and our waitress was patient and on top of it.

If you love eggs done exactly how you want them this is the place to go. Food was so good.

Quick, friendly service and was asked enough times If I'd like a coffee top up and if everything was OK. Which it was.

I will definitely be returning here in the near future. Very pleasant and enjoyable service.
