Thirty-one dollars for 2 crescents and 2 coffees, what a joke! Been there tried it and won't think of them again!

The books weren't as prominent as I had hoped but it was still a nice place! Definitely more of a coffee place than a bookstore

They still got it!

Like many a Tucsonan, I had occasioned Revolutionary Grounds in the before time when they were down on 4th Ave and nobody was afraid of a scratchy throat, but rumor had it they were pushed out by rent increases just before the pandemic and lost to the annals of history. So I was thrilled to learn from my momma that they had since moved into her neighborhood and were basically offering the same fare. I dropped by, ordered a delicious double cap and a gluten free choco bar, and was immediately transported to a better time when left/liberals weren't trying to rebrand Liz Cheney as a hero. Lol

Anyway, the book shelves appear to have grown and the new space is generally inviting. The walls are adorned with art and quotes from the radical intelligentsia, and everything tastes great. They even have a couple corners for the kiddos, which is new, and outdoor seating for the sun and disease-conscious.

I'm really glad these folks survived. I'll definitely go back. You should, too.

Great cup of coffee and nice selection of books. Plus gluten free items.

new location still finding its footing, but everything was done with care and i felt like a valued customer as soon as i walked in. I've been in the new location a few times and everything I've tried has been wonderful. the book selection is also great, and i love browsing for something to gift comrades (especially comrades to be)

if i didn't live on the opposite side of town I'd be there more often, but even still i make the trip for a nice chill hang out from time to time because they deserve the support

Awesome little shop with lots of vegan options!

We found the coffee sub-par. The latte I had was really strange tasting (specific brand of oatmilk perhaps?). My wife's oat mocha was super sweet and offered little coffee flavors.

The food was quite good and very vegan friendly.

The literature and books are fantastic. If you are into sociology, psychology, history, political science, philosophy and more - come here FIRST. They had books I've seen nowhere else.

Very vegan friendly, and actually has good coffee β˜• πŸ‘Œ I got an Iced Americano and a Turk'y Bagel Sandwich with all the toppings, a big slice of Lavendar Banana Bread, and large Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie. It was all really good. πŸ˜‹ Quiet, laid back atmosphere, clean, too.

*update* Not all of the staff members are friendly, even when you are. =/ so, minus one star?

Revolutionary Grounds is one of the most welcoming places I’ve been to. The staff is always so nice to me. The book selection is like NO OTHER book store. Usually the philosophy and political literature of a book store is very minimal, but Revolutionary Grounds has all sorts of literature from those genres.

The vegan Revolutionary Bagel is to die for. It’s one of the items that keeps on bringing me back. Their black tea as well is superb.

My only suggestion is to offer loose leaf tea to purchase! Other than that, Revolutionary Grounds is a spot every coffee shop lover has to go to.

I'm a fan of Revolutionary Grounds and have loved it since it was a 4th Avenue anchor store for me. Great books, and Joy will get it for you if it isn't part of the inventory. Great basil lemonade, too.
