Cold brew is not taking today's hot coffee that went cold and infusing it with "Nitro." Bacon shouldn't be cooked from raw in a microwave. Eggs, in the summer time, in a hot truck, remarkably, do still require refrigeration.

Also, not to be condescending, but the spelling on most signs is often incorrect. Jackie, the owner, was a friend of mine but she is honestly more interested in money than interpersonal relationships, and apparently money fascinates her more than authenticity as well.

As coffee shops go, this one lacks something. It's a small space and very noisy. The coffee drinks are average or less in quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find their lunches (pre-packaged sandwiches and salads) were surprisingly good. Given the choice, I would buy my coffee drinks at the even smaller shop 1/2 block west.

Employees wearing masks, much appreciated. The breakfast empanada was DELICIOUS. I wasn't much a fan of the pumpkin spice latte personally, but I appreciated the available variety of non-dairy milks.

A nice downtown spot for coffee and pastries!

Due to where I live, I have to take an express bus to and from my house, so that means that most days I work, I have three hours to kill. Ikes is my go-to place before the library opens, and my go-to café.

If you use any kind of mobility aid, be prepared to sit at a middle table or take your items to go. It is a small, cozy place, but when you have limited mobility, it is a bit of an obstacle course.

I really do love Ikes though. The environment is different than anyplace I've been before, but it's very comfortable and familial.

I don't know the first thing about coffee, so I don't know how good it is, just that I enjoy it. What i *do* know is that their sandwiches are incredible. I had a French connection, which is turkey, lettuce, tomato, pesto sauce, provolone on a baguette. And it was amazing.

They really need to label their muffins though.

Tl;dr they're not perfect, and inaccessible if you aren't abled, but it's absolutely worth it. A great company with great food and lovely employees. 9/10 highly recommend

Allie at the counter was super positive and helpful. She answered my series of questions about food, coffee, and amenities with smiles and good information. There is Wi-Fi, and you can also reach the Wi-Fi from the public library across the street, at least if you sit at the bar at the window like I did. The spinach feta empanada from Bombolé next door was deeply yummy, crust as flaky as filo, great ratio of fillings. With the Greek salad I had a theme, and plenty to eat with a portion possibly fit for two and a couple scoops of hummus. I got some solid work done thanks to the Wi-Fi and had a house coffee that was a little darker than I expected from the description, but I like it so mild I sometimes cold brew green beans. They do have organic coffee too. Give them your money.

Hiram is the best barista! He makes fantastic custom drinks for my friend and me and is always willing to try something new! The customer service by all the staff is bar-none! We love our morning wake up drink with this crew!

The French Connection sandwich was spectacular and their ice coffee was delicious. A cute little cafe that I’m glad to have stumbled upon!

Not a salad guy in general - but wow - the Clooney salad here is fantastic. The coffee is great too! Clean friendly environment. I really like this place. Tried expensive restaurants just around the corner. Food actually nowhere near as good as it is at Ikes. This is like a hidden gem in plain sight! The red eye coffee is great too. I also use the Ikes at the Tucson airport when I travel. I like them a lot. Wish there were more in town.

Stopped in for a sandwich, ordered on wheat bread (got marble rye), ordered mayo on both sides of bread (got mayo on one side, dry bread next to tomato), for $9. I would think that for $9 you could get a sandwich put together as ordered, but not here.
