My pasta dish was good. My husband's prime rib was a disappointment. The potatoes were barely warm, the prime rib was medium to well done depending on where you cut, and he ordered medium. Service was good.

Wow.
Holy delicious burger, batman!!

And for those who need it, they offer a good GF bun!

Really appreciate d how friendly the counter service was for take-out.

In Sanoita, Az not many restaurants to choose from but the food was good. Ordered the BLT on a croissant with a side of sweet potato fries. Good flavor.

Driving through this small town we stopped at what looked to be a typical small town restaurant. We we immediately disappointed when the hostess asked us if we had a reservation. We were even more disappointed with the disgusted look on her face As she reluctantly sat us next to the door. I can’t vouch for the food because the prices and content of the menu were something you would expect in Napa Valley not small town America.

The Cafe seems to be trying to be something it’s not. Trying to be High society people operating a small country cafe next to a junk yard. If you are into small town restaurants and enjoy dining with the locals, this is not the place for you.

On my trips to Sonoita we almost always stop here to have lunch. The salad greens are always fresh and crisp and the steak on the black and blue is cooked to perfection. The APE burger is always a good surprise no matter what is brought to the table. I can't recommend the onion rings and the sweet potato fries enough.

They can be quite busy during the lunch hour but the wait is worth the time.

Locally owned and operated, cozy mom and pop restaurant. Great food, great service, and the live music on Thursday night was awesome. If you happen to find yourself in Arizona wine country The Cafe is well worth the stop.

The people were very nice and food good on 5/20/17. The next day the food was not good. The venison stew special had no pieces of meat, a few small pieces of veggies and the broth wasn't thickened. My husband's chicken caesar had no chicken and the dressing was a type of 1000 Island. The Cafe didn't charge for the stew, just the bread that came with it. Very disappointing.

This is a must stop for lunch when driving through Sonoita. Under fairly new ownership in the last several years and what an improvement. Fairly common food with burgers salads and sandwiches. The chef always has a special of the day which I end up ordering most of the time. Wine and beer available. Everything is moderately priced and service has always been exemplary. Go for it.

Delicious food and friendly staff:
The chipotle burger, upgraded to bison, was juicy and bursting with flavor. Also enjoyed the Caesar salad with a generous topping of shaved Parmesan cheese.
The Cafe seems to attract friendly diners, many were exchanging greetings and stories of their day's adventures.
