The Cafe

The Cafe in Sonoita has a good chef, consistently good food, lots of selections on the menu, a pretty large wine selection (cheaper on Thursdays when they finish off bottles), live music sometimes, nicely decorated, outdoor dining and nice views. About 40 minute scenic drive from Sierra Vista. We've never paid more than about $80 including wine and tip. You could spend more or you could spend a good bit less. Been going for years and anticipating our next...maybe on our upcoming anniversary.

Lovely place. Nice and quiet. Variety of menu options. Vegan substitutes available on burgers. Variety of salads. Specials as well.

Fantastic all around! My mother and I came in and I was having an awful day. I was worried about the bread not actually being gluten free, as it wasn't mentioned on the menu, but the waitresses assured me multiple times that it was, and gave me all the information I asked for. I cannot stress how much I needed that level kindness that day, and to top it off, the food was fantastic. The restaurant was very clean, the entire staff was singing in the back (we were the only customers for a bit), and it was an extremely comfortable environment. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Waited an hour and a half for 2 burgers and 2 pastrami sandwiches. 2 of the sandwiches came out cold……not warm…..cold. Both burgers were waaaaay over cooked…..asked for med rare and got well done. Took another 15 minutes to replace the two sandwiches and another 10 for the burger. Asked for the manager…..never saw him/her. Not that I am looking for a free meal, but they never even offered to adjust the bill. It’s s a shame….place can be a goldmine, but not the way it’s being ran now. Not going back again…..

We passed right by this place without noticing it but when we asked at a local winery where we should eat they sent us to "The Cafe". So thankful they did. Fresh burgers (from the cows across the street they said!), sweet potato fries, crunchy chicken tenders for the kids and plenty of drink options for the adults. They were gracious accommodating kids. We arrived at an off hour when it was quiet but dinner business picked up as we left. Obviously they have a loyal local following. Look forward to visiting again and definitely a good choice if you need some sustenance while vineyard hopping.

I love finding a good place to eat when traveling. We were on our way back from Patagonia and were starving. This place isn't have a long line so we went in and were served immediately. Husband ordered the pastrami on rye, I got a cheeseburger. Fries ok, but everything else was great. No pics, sorry, too busy eating.

Had the pesto chicken sandwich this weekend. It was good and the service was great.

Really good quality food, if they have the Baked Potato soup when you’re here, ABSOLUTELY GET IT!!! Best dang soup I’ve ever had in my life, I would buy buckets of it if they’d let me.

Two of us visited on March, I had a special they were running, Burger topped with Chili. Very good, the topping was a black been chili (think more of a paste chili... so not runny at all but a bunch of flavored black beans) Side was potato salad, which was fresh and also very flavor full. I was very happy with my meal

Wife had a Portobello burger, with a side of carrots. She was very happy with her selection, the one minor gripe was her cucumber slices which had a bit of a freezer burn to them

Service was excellent, casual and very friendly and they were attentive, ensuring soda's and waters were full. When we arrived they were about at 50% capacity (inside.. as it was a slightly cool day) but was quickly at 100% capacity. Again the two person floor team managed all tables well. Our completed dishes were removed quickly and provide a bill in a very timely manner

So fresh flavorful food, nice environment, great service.. highly recommend. While the menu is limited they do it spot on.
