Luanas Coffee and Beer

I love the vibe of this place! Luana’s has a fun vintage aesthetic with pool tables and games to keep yourself entertained. I came for the coffee and ordered the Kyle’s Favorite, which I honestly thought tasted pretty mediocre. However, their extensive list of house-special coffee flavors will have me returning to try a new flavor soon. I also ordered the Novia Dos bagel sandwich which was the bomb! Overall, good experience and would love to give their coffee another try.

Wow! Amazing upgrade from when it used to be on McDowell. This space is super rad! It is comfy and inviting. It feels like you're hanging out in the basement with all your friends. The drinks and food are tasty. This is total local vibes.

Had some yummy pizza & a iced Chai tea latte with almond milk.

Came here for Dine in. I have to say my concern for this place is cleanliness. They guy that served us seemed to be an owner of the place. He said he named it after his mother.
Negatives-
When he brought us our food his hands were super far into our plates. When he grabbed the glasses he brought them from the top of the glass to you. I asked for a straw at that point. Then he proceeded to bring the straw, take it out of the paper and he stirred my iced coffee with it from the top of the straw with it unopened where you put your mouth. Very strange behavior and unsanitary. I got up and got my own straw from the bar. Coming from someone that should be really concerned with how customers view things. Food was ok. Coffee ok. I wouldnt come back here because of how they acted. The response from the owner after this review shows there class.

Nice trolling owner! Would be nice to acknowledge mistakes and promise to improve. But that didnt happen. Going to one star after that response.

Was in the search for a nice coffee shop to get work done and came across this place with great reviews. The coffee was delicious but I ended up wasting my time as the wifi is horrible couldn't get connected for more than a minute. I will be going again when not in need of wifi. :)

Very happening place. We raised the average age a good bit when we came in. But everyone was super nice and we had a great time. We were there for an open mic night and it was super fun. Lots of college students were there. Good coffee and other drinks.

Great food great atmosphere great coffee was given a cup of Guatemalan coffee on the house.

i really love this place, and it’s the only spot in town with truly cozy couches and sturdy furniture and just a comfortable vibe. my issue is just that they play the music so loud, no matter the time of day, and it’s impossible to concentrate on anything—a book, your studies, your conversation, even. it tends to be so loud that the bass actually buzzes the things on the walls. it’s not bad music or a bad vibe or anything, it’s just way too loud to focus, and that’s a big bummer to me, because otherwise i would be there much more often. it seems like at least during the day when it’s more of a coffee shop, they might bring it to more moderate levels.

Awesome little coffee shop. I'm always on the look out for cool shops and this hands is hands down one of my top favorites
