Luanas Coffee and Beer

Cool vibes in this place! Food and coffee is okay, but it's the spot itself that's the attraction. Cool coffee shop to chill at with friends for a sec, for sure, but don't get too excited about your alcoholic drink if it's not straight off the menu. I'm not sure anyone there knows how to really bartend. Worth a shot of your in the area!

Awesome spot for coffee that is more unique than a Starbucks. So skip Starbucks and pay Luanas a visit. This spot is in an old house filled with character. The staff made me feel like I was their best friend. Don't forget, make sure to grab one of their cookies. Thanks for the great service!

My all time favorite coffee shop has finally returned after a location change. Solid food and coffee, perfect vibe for working, catching up with friend and living your best life in Phoenix

Dirty chai was very good and the eclectic atmosphere is very unique.

Cool spot to meet up for coffee with friends. I liked its vibe, it’s like walking into to a historic house plus they serve drinks and food which is always a plus. Will definitely come back.

Coffee was decent, barista (bartender?) was not. Almost felt unwelcome. Location seems a little strange too. Don't know if I'll return. *Edit answer to reply*. I am new to the area and am looking to have a local coffee shop to bop into for my morning bev. While the aesthetic is very cool, my first interaction seemed unusually cold. The shop was very slow and the barista was talking with someone when I got in. Barista seemed put off, and short with the interaction. Not friendly.. like the person just wanted to get back to their friend. The coffee is also more expensive than most other places. But I'll give it that it is good coffee. The location being off McDowell, just doesn't seem like it fits. But since you guys are around the corner from me which is most convenient, and the fact that you replied, I feel I need to give Luanas another chance, and not be so short with my reviews.

I value customer service over most things when it comes to a business especially when you are starting the day. I know you shouldn't let one person's interaction ruin the experience, but it happened that way this time.

Fun and kitchy, food is good, atmosphere is eclectic and goofy, love it.
