I have been going to common grounds ever since I moved to Payson and I have always loved their unique coffee. However, the last few times that I have gone my drinks just have not been made up to par. Every time that I’ve gone recently it’s been a different person so I am guessing they are new baristas in training! Yay!! My problem is every time that I’ve gone I end up spending a good $30 because I enjoy going with my family and all of our drinks just don’t come out good. It sucks because we have gone back and asked if the drinks were made correctly and they say they followed the recipe. We aren’t ones to argue so we just leave. I love this place, but if you’re going to welcome new baristas, please make sure they know the recipe before leaving them to fend for themselves. PLEASE it’s usually just one or two of them working and they work hard! But I want my drinks made correctly. I come here because I love the local food and drinks and would just love if I could walk in there knowing I’m going to get what I order.

This was such a cute coffee shop! The vibe was great. They have tables and some comfy couches inside, plus some outdoor tables and seating and a water fall feature for ambiance. The chia tea I got was tasty too!

Came to get some coffee. I got the iced white chocolate, vanilla and caramel and it was delicious. Love the place it’s cozy and somewhat modern to any other place in Payson.
My friend got the London fog tea and she loved it.

This place is wonderful!! They have a specialty drink that mixes PB & chocolate that I made a latte with oat milk 😋😋😋 I should have taken a photo, it was delicious!! Their sweets are homemade...my daughter had their apple cinnamon muffin yesterday, and it was superb!! They obtain their lavender from some of their drinks locally from the Lavender farm and it's wonderful in their lemonade.

Cute little gem just barely off the main road, worth the 2 minute detour. Inside is currently closed, but looked like plenty of space for catching up with friends. Outside had a very spacious shady beautiful patio (I need to get out of Phoenix more!) with lots of tables. Barista was so sweet and friendly. My cold brew is delicious! They had a great selection of coffee, tea, and flavors (and lemonade) to suit any preferences. This is going to be my go to anytime we make it up this way.

Such a cute place. Dessert was delicious. Loved the hot chocolate. And the outdoor patio was delightful.

Love this coffee shop. Hand crafted drinks (hot or cold) and fresh pastries (not thawed and reheated!) that change and keep things fresh.

I’ve come here about 4 times now and I don’t understand why everyone loves it so much. The drinks are pretty expensive for what they are and not made great. I try to support local coffee shops only but this one makes it hard.
