We have eaten here two times. Both times the food was good, good value for the price and very friendly wait staff.

8:00am 8/6/21 restaurant is closed. Hours on google shows open at 6:00am

Met my dad and his friend for breakfast the other day here and we were all very pleased with our meal. I got the waffle with side of bacon and it was perfect! The service was also amazing as always!

Food is family style and delicious. Decor is certainly not fancy, but comfortable and clean. The staff is welcoming and attentive. We usually go there at least weekly and more.

Clean tables.
Clean bathrooms.
Lots of parking for trucks and trailers.
Turkey and Ham melt was awesome. Biscuits and gravy looked good also.

They serve great menudo on weekends.

This was the place I got my first job!! Washing dishes n then I was trained to be a server by a girl named Diane n an elderly lady name bea but I just remember the boss at the time her name was Carol n she was so sweet! I made really good tips there n my mother Rosemary”Rosie” was a cook at the same time I worked there n fact she helped me get the job!!!! So I could support my baby girl ! Wow how time fly’s that was 1977/1978 n I remember we peeled boiled potatoes for hash browns I hated that!!!!!like 3 or 4 5 gallon buckets every shift I was so young all of 17 but I learned a lot there n the owners were just great!!! The had good food n good service oh I remember another lady there named Norma my mom loved them lady’s n she loved her job so did I !!!

Husband had a great Ortega burger. Seems like waitress knew most clients by heart. Coffee on the table before they even got through the door, or remembering their usual order.
