Hot Rod Cafe

Nice experience...the food was good and filling. While this is not just off the freeway..it was nice to go out of my way for some local owned dining. Will make this a stop on my trips back from Vegas.

Love the atmosphere of this small cafe. Very friendly staff. The prices are good too, I have a family of five and we all ate a nice breakfast for a reasonable price.

Corvette Club member suggested this restaurant after the original place never thought to open - nonetheless, it was a Great idea !! Plenty of seating both inside and out. Because today was cooler ( under 100° while we were there...) Most of us decided to dine on the padio. Service was fabulous and the food was amazing. Finely, after so many let downs from other diners and restaurants, a clean, organized and knowledgeable staff that wasn't overwhelmed when 30 Corvette's roll up. Oh, and the cherry on top - prices were actually less than most of the other places we've been.

Had a good breakfast at this fun place. Met and was served by the owner. It was his birthday.

I stopped in for a fast lunch while passing thru town.

The food was great.

Service was friendly and excellent.

I ate out on the patio.

Eating here and enjoying the staff made me wish I lived in town so I could make this a regular hang out.

I will be back for sure.

Delicious, homemade ingredients. My husband loves biscuits and gravy. We have to try them everywhere we go. He swears mine are the best, but these were by far the best we've ever tasted out. Made with love!!
I had the scramble skillet. M~mmmmm! All the food was very flavorful. Great find. We would definitely go back again!

Nice, friendly place. Enjoyed sitting on the patio, but they took a long time to bring the food and they got my order wrong and then made excuses why it was wrong and told me they didn't have time to correct it. That they were too busy.

The service was impeccable! Had the all you can eat fish. When they saw you had 1 piece of fish, or half empty drink, they were really quick to serve more. Very friendly, and attentive. Will go back DEFINITELY

It was very good, I was on vacation and my cousin, and her husband were so kind to take me out. I had a lovely orange with flames on the sides. It was a 1914 Dodge Touring, it was Pres. Truman's parade car. But in 1957 in Modesto, California, it had a quicker engine put in!
