I would have given a 5 except for the following issues I thought could be better. The food definitely made up for it. The basket of chips had no liner, so I saw dried up food on the actual basket and lost my appetite for chips at that moment. The wait was not too long for our food but our waitress, although very sweet never came back to refill my drink. They were busy as it was lunch rush and it did not seem to be very organized with the staff. We got our food and had no silverware so we had to wait again to get the busboy to get us a fork and napkin. Food was yummy though. Now 2 days later, I saw what should have been a 28.00 bill is now a 56.00 bill. I was told to go back and show my statement. I live in Phoenix. Double check your bills and account next day.

This was literally the worst experience I have ever had, I honestly wish no stars were an option.
I made a phone order and I spent almost 90$ (88 and change) and was told they wouldn't even start it until it was paid which I can understand in a way.
I went down, paid for my order and asked if they would let us know when it was ready. The waitress brought it out with an attitude and we checked our order and a good portion of it was messed up so we went in and tried to explain.
While I was organizing the incorrect items to explain the waitress she started trying to rush me. Then began to raise her voice so I did as well.
Finally she goes to tell the manager and about 5 minutes later the manager barrels out the kitchen doors yelling about how we're not getting any money back and speaking over me. Wouldn't even let me explain what was wrong. Them proceeded to threaten to call the police and said we need to get out immediately.
We didn't want even a penny back we wanted our food made correctly.
This is how you handle customer service as a manager! Wow. That is pathetic.

I've been coming to this restaurant since about 1971. Made the drive all the way from Phoenix to Globe to have dinner there tonight with my wife. Food was excellent. But the restaurant is definitely going through the end stages of life. Would be super neat to see them remodel the place. Sadly... It hasn't been touched since the 70s. But the food is still super fantastic.

Most waitresses here get super upset and nasty if they are even slightly busy haha especially the blonde one. Put her in the kitchen, she’s stressed out up front. Better service and food at other restaurants.

Out of town visit. They accommodated a group of 30 and rocked the service. The green and red chili is awesome and I don't like red sauce... I had to double check my chimichanga was in fact deep fried. It was, it was just lacking any grease and I loved it.

Food was tasty However they put sauce on the bottom of the plate and the tostada and taco were soggy and almost unedible. I had a beef enchilada that maybe had three or four pieces of beef in it I asked a substitute the rice for beans and they said there would be an up charge The customer service there was terrible had to ask for our waitress then asked for the bill and she says I would just get up and pay at the register We will not be going back there

We took a day trip driving to and around Globe from Tucson. We found this amazing Mexican restaurant in downtown Globe AZ. They have the most authentic Mexican food I've had since leaving
El Paso, TX. I'll make the trip from Tucson..you should to!

This place may be great but let me tell you their kin Julian Michael Villalobos is a thief. He stole my money $350 and then he robbed my house while I was at work. I work every day. And I needed a car and he was going to sell me his car. I spend all my money on Uber and Lyft rides and finally saved up a little bit of money and he took it all.

Best authentic Mexican food around. It was very busy but the service and staff were awesome. This place is a MUST DO.

Terrible service, terrible food. Got orders wrong took way too long to make food. Menu items have no description. Worst food experience OF MY LIFE! I don’t even write reviews but I had to on this one
