Lola Coffee

Best sea salt chocolate chip cookies in the world. And the coffee is dam good to but wish they're large wasn't a small. I need a real large ice coffee. Everything is great coming out of Lola.

I roast coffee as a hobby, and I try out new coffee shops as often as possible. Lola's coffee and service were five stars during my visit today. Plan to visit them often in the future.
One reviewer commented that the roast is dark, I do agree that it leans toward dark versus medium, that is how I like my coffee.

I absolutely love the coffee, but this last time I went in the staff was commenting on my coffee order as if I couldn’t hear them. Personally, keep the comments to themselves, the customer can order whatever they want and how they want and they don’t need a staff members approval of opinion. Left with bad vibes.

While there are some early kinks to work out, the coffee is considerably better than any place within a 10 mile radius. The space itself looks like the old CBTL, with a paint upgrade and some industrial/hipster finishes, which is not a complaint. Overall, while they are eschewing the trend toward drive-thru coffee, its worth getting out of your car for a cup here.

Not sure why the previous reviewer felt compelled to whine about masks. Sit at a table, drink coffee, and take it off. Stop being a baby.

Come here once or twice a week for a cortado and a chocolate croissant! Super friendly staff, and it’s in a cute location with plenty of space!

Smells deeeeelish as soon as you open the door! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great coffee. Didn't eat .... but pastries etc looked great.

NAIL IN MY COFFEE BEANS!!!! BROKE MY BREVILLE COFFEE MACHINE !!!!

Tuesday morning I woke up bright and early, went to refill my breville machine with a fresh bag of Lola coffee beans to make a cup of coffee. I pour in the beans, start my machine and hear the loudest screech as my machine begins to grind my beans. I quickly shut it off, unplug and check the machine. A large NAIL had been poured out with the coffee beans!! I remove the nail and hope that our 2 month old breville machine is not broken. But it’s done for. 😩😭
I go in person to the arrowhead location later that day (Tuesday) to ask if I can speak to a manager or a higher up about the situation. They say that no ones available and they’ll take my number and call me that day. Today (Saturday) I call back letting them know it’s now been 4 days and no one has called me back. They tell me they’d once again tell the owner to call me. Finally a call back. The man let me know this never happens, and I get that. But now that it has happened what do you do?
Hence why I am here writing this review. We’ve enjoyed Lola’s for awhile. Only ever purchased beans from here. We were ecstatic for the arrowhead location to open. We’ve stopped in plenty of times for coffee, pastries, breakfast sandwiches. Recommended them to many friends and family.
The man I spoke to (pretty sure the owner of Lolas—‘Andy’ if I’m not mistaken) seemed annoyed I had even contacted him. No refunds offered, no gift card to be like “hey this guy is out of a brand new $800 coffee machine let me at least offer him some coffees on the house” NOTHING. Super disappointed in the way the situation was handled!

Love this spot! Come here all the time for a chai tea and breakfast burrito! They also have the best blueberry muffins!

Cute little coffee shop, tons of space inside and out for groups or smalls study sessions. Very close to Midwestern University. Staff was super friendly and provided great service. I look forward to coming back.

Super friendly and helpful staff. I've been to 2 different locations now and they've both been very aesthically pleasing environments.
