The Toasted Owl East Side

I'm going to give this 0 stars. I left a few minutes ago with my family. Our original wait time was 25min, then it got pushed longer to 45min. The hostess with braces wasn't being direct, said the tables aren't cleaned, and there were other people waiting. No, there were empty tables that were cleaned up AND there weren't people waiting. Outside seats/tables that were CLEAN were vacant for the past 45minutes. I told the hostess that I'm okay with sitting outside and she tried telling me there is a wait-list or how the tables were all full. What? There are empty tables! BOTH INSIDE AND OUT.

The atmosphere is creative and unique. I've been here a couple times the food has always been tasty and serving sizes are generous. The service is friendly and timely. I would definitely go here again, however, I wasn't absolutely wow-ed by any particular thing.

Paige (or page sorry if I butchered the spelling!) was absolutely phenomenal and was on lint with everything. She handled us and multiple tables inside while keeping up With all the orders in a timely fashion! Definitely coming back for some of the French toast!

The food was tasty, but we checked in at noon and left at 2. Very slow. If they were faster, they'd have more business.

Cool concept but a little hokey. Great selection of vegan options which I was impressed by. Service was good. The vegetarian tamales were fine, not something I'd order again. Overall decent experience, would definitely try them out again.

The yelp ratings weren't fair for this restaurant. They are really great! The decor is fun and wonderfully country while being very clean. The plates and coffee cups were all different as to add to the welcoming "at home" feel. The service was prompt and friendly. They were wonderfully engaging. They texted us when our table was ready so we could hang out in the heated car instead of suffering through that oh so stinging morning air. The food was great! Leftovers to be had. Highly recommend!

The owner must love owls. The whole place is decorated with owl decor with a 70s vibe. Very quirky and fun place. Nothing fancy just plain breakfast staples.

What a fabulous place, so welcoming, a truly great ambience and comfortable space. We had breakfast and coffee and I could have stayed the whole day.
