This bar is great if you're staying at the Monte Vista hotel. Its pretty small and cozy, so small groups only. Top notch whiskey and tequila selection, and they have a few well curated beer taps.

Ahh yes, Rendezvous. The most sublime spot in all of Flagstaff, AZ, much less Northern Arizona--to meet friends and grab a coffee or cocktail--judgement free. This is, perhaps, one of the places I miss the most about living here. I recommend (as other reviewers have mentioned) the Whiskey Chai, Lemon Drop Martini, or the Chocolate/Coffee Martini as one of their top 3 beverages. I'm a solid beer drinker, but whenever visiting the lounge, cocktails take precedence. I've never had a comparative Lemon Drop or Whiskey Chai since, and I ASSURE YOU, they have a recipe for their signature cocktails they train all their bartenders to make, because the cocktails taste perfectly the same, regardless of which bartender is pouring/mixing or what day/night/or time of the week you visit. Another great thing about this place is that although it may become packed at certain times in the evening, there's hardly ever any large groups that stick around for all hours as this is such a transient tourist town, so you won't have trouble eventually securing seating for your time spent here with friends having a great drink and a laugh in a very chill atmosphere. Speaking of atmosphere, due to this bar being located in a historic remote Western town hotel lobby, and providing a swanky energy, you're not bound to be overrun by common bar douche bags. The overhead music is not mind numbingly blaring by any stretch, and because the ceilings are so high, they set the volume just right for the old building charm acoustics. The bathrooms are my only gripe, but even then, you gotta know where the secret bathrooms hide to overcome this minor drawback. Local's tip: make sure you plan ahead to either pick up some carry out food nearby or order a pizza in this town AT LEAST 2 hours before last call if you enjoy a few too may cocktails, as it's a small quiet mountain town where they roll up the sidewalks around 9p. Once again, I leave you with the thoughts of the best Whiskey Chai's & Lemon Drop Martinis dancing in your head.

My husband and I were there last night. A female patron was ruphied. They are pretty certain the bartender was involved. The police were called but we left before they arrived, so not sure what came of it.

Amazing cocktails. The expresso martini was amazing, and the LIT was incredible. I got buzzed off of 1 drink. It was all top shelf liquor.

It was okay, until I heard the manager speaking rudely the customers. It was very unsettling for me to try and enjoy my drink when I was listening to nasty and rude things being said about the people around me. Shouldnt you be managing instead of trashing strangers? 😒

Great little historic spot that has been fixed up. Their cocktails were amazing and they also had some local crafts on tap. The patrons and bartenders were all very friendly. I do recommend adding some Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse to your music selection..maybe via Pandora :))

Rude and very unhelpful staff. Checked my bank statement a couple days later and saw that I was greatly over charged and the bartender added a tip without my authorization after leaving a cash tip. Tried resolving the issue but cannot get in touch with the GM.

Definitely one of my favorite go to places in downtown flag for a beer and cocktail! Great ambiance and fun staff make the entire experience even better after a long work week.

Fun stop for a drink, surprisingly good coffee options throughout the day, prices questionable on some items but not too crazy

Owner is verbally abusive to staff and customers. I came to this bar for the loyal staff. The owner fired them without explanation two weeks before Christmas during a PANDEMIC. This bar will never be the same.
