Great coffee menu, friendly knowledgeable staff, and delicious coffee. These Seattleites definitely recommend!

A couple of friends and I stopped by on the way back from a road trip to Colorado. Ariel the barista did a phenomenal job serving us. One of our guys had trouble deciding how he wanted his coffee done. She was amazingly accommodating and helped him get exactly what he needed. Great customer service! The coffee was amazing! The customer service was even better!

Absurdly slow and very rude service! We were the only people in the store and it took over 25 minutes to get two drinks and two sandwiches, with no apologies or attempts to make it up. Won’t be coming back!

Great coffee early in the morning. Great staff. Good selection

Our wonderful Sunday (7/25/21) morning at the Old Town Shops of Flagstaff, Arizona; (thank you Chris at Brightside Books and all the fabulous people at Collins Irish Pub), was brought to an abrupt halt when we visited Matador Coffee Roasting Company. My partner wanted to go to Starbucks, and I have a love for that company, but, I try to support locals when I can--hence, our trip to Matador Coffee. Independent stores--why do you make it SO hard to support you?

I wish I could share something, anything about our stop; the taste of the beverage or the aroma of the beans; but, since we were ignored--and I do mean ignored; not a look, glance, wink, head nod, hello, or goodbye, I have nothing.

Actually, I have one thing. There is a cowbell on the counter, that says Ring For Service. My partner desperately wanted to ring it till the cows came home. But the barista, was directly in front of us, making a drink and refusing any form of eye contact or acknowledgment; I was intrigued by this level of detached indifference and attitude.

I have a second thing: we got back on our bike and rode to Starbucks. We were greeted, met with smiles, and happily spent $60.00 on beverages, VIA’s, and ground coffee--(Komodo Dragon).

Side Note: Shout out to the muralist whose work is featured on the outside wall of Matador Coffee. Knowing what we know now, we should have grabbed our photo and hit the road.

Caramel Latte with Oat Milk (2 Pumps of Caramel Sauce)
This place is greeted by a drive thru system as well as a super awesome and nice staff. The breakfast sandwiches are also a gultiy pleasure. I will definitely take more pictures and appreciate the coziness of the area the next time I go there. Five stars.

Very tummy burrito and a small mocha while waiting for next door green farm to open. Great pairing. Employees are super sweet.

Awesome place to sneak away and get some work done with an excellent cup of coffee!

Stopped here on a cross-country road trip; excellent space to caffeinate and get some work done. I really liked their espresso, and the breakfast burrito was very large for the price, great value.
